Thankfully the leggings are not for me, but for the huge doll I am sewing. She wont complain when the backside is looking weird :-DDD But it was a good moment to have a look into the fitting of leggings, but to be honest i am again a bit deterred to try it for real (aka for me). I will wait for a quiet moment and try to understand the techniques which are mentioned in @phoenixwren links.
But at first I need to stuff the doll :-DDDD
And yes Mood is fabulous isn't it? So many free patterns. I only need to learn to sew better :-DDD The only downside of Mood is the sizing. I fall inbetween 5!!! sizes. But this should not be a problem for you as you have a better understand of fitting/construction.
THere is another fabric company with a lot of free patterns... not sure if you know it already:
https://fabrics-store.com/sewing-patterns
And I also like the free pattern from https://peppermintmag.com/sewing-school/
Especially the Bardon dress, the wide leg pants and the vintage style skirt. But I know all would need intensive fitting for my body and this is so daunting for me.
Looking forward to your sewing projects <3
