Oh, what a great fact, we call it embroidery on satin, although it is by tradition and for years nobody does it on satin, but the term embroidery in general is used for those that are made with threads, not sequins. Here I have only known this type of embroidery for murga costumes, although on the internet there are several creations in this style, I can not find anything similar in terms of shine and use of costume decoration for this carnival celebration.
