Red 5 Petals Flower Embroidery 🪡 | Needlework monday

in NeedleWorkMondaylast month

Hello guys. I am back in this community after a week and this is my post for the Needlework Monday contest. Hope you are all doing well. Today is the beginning of the week and the sun is shining. Some of you may know that last time I made a basket of flowers which was well liked and my work was appreciated. Today I have embroidered red flowers and I tried my best to make it neat and attractive. I used yellow and red thread to make the flowers and green thread to make the leaves and also red thread to make the ribbon. Hope you like my embroidery. Let's start with the procedure.

Procedure

When I woke up in the morning, the sun had risen and its rays were shining on my plants. My breakfast was ready, after breakfast I wanted to take a bath, but I could not take a bath for a few hours after breakfast because it is not good for your health. Then I decided to do the embroidery. I gathered all the materials and sat down to sketch. I was satisfied with the sketch of the leaves and branches but I was a bit confused on the sketch of the flowers because I made some flowers smaller and some bigger which seemed odd to me. Then I thought that flowers are not the same, flowers are always different from each other, so I accepted this sketch.

After making the sketch I started the process of embroidering it but I had not find the threads. I didn't do any embroidery for a whole week and so I put it somewhere and forgot it and I couldn't find it. After searching about 10 minutes I succeeded. First I put the red thread in the needle and started embroidering the flowers. I tried to fill these flowers well so that they look neat and attractive and it is a bit time consuming as all the flowers have to be filled well.

After finishing embroidering flowers with red thread, I started embroidering leaves with green thread. I used simple stitches in this embroidery and simple stitches look best. Embroidering these leaves was quite satisfying and I tried my best not to spoil my sketch and give a nice shape to the leaves accordingly. After the leaves I also embroidered the branches with green thread and then with yellow thread I embroidered the center of the flowers and you know guys this is my favourite stitch.

In the end, I tied these branches with a ribbon and I used red thread to make this ribbon. After embroidering the ribbon I noticed that the beauty of the embroidery has increased a lot and the embroidery is more beautiful than I expected. I devoted more than two hours to making this embroidery but I also had a lot of fun while making it. Hope you like this embroidery of mine and I look forward to your feedback.

I hardly ever see a bloke doing embroidery, and even rarer to see one who does it as neatly as you do. I’m impressed – beautiful flowers. Well done! 😊
