RE: NeedleWork Your Jewelry for Mother’s Day! A NeedleWorkMonday Contest!

Hello @needleworkmonday team, @crosheille @needleworkMonday founder, @marblely @needleworkmonday administrator, @kattycrochet @needleworkMonday moderator, @neumannsalva,@lauramica, @romeskie @needleworkmonday community builders, I thank you all specially for always creating such an interesting, amazing opportunities for we the users to partake, it’s such a wonderful contest it sounds like fun, am just here looking for an opportunity to make something sweet for my mom to appreciate and thank her for the 9months of pains she had been through for my sake, it’s not been easy and she’s still making sacrifices to ensure am save what more or who more could be so special than a mother who sat and watch out infant head. So I say thank you to you all for putting heads together and coming up with such wonderful contest.

But my only problem is since I don’t crochet don’t even know how to 😂 can I do something else entirely out for knitting, kinda sewing? I would really appreciate if you could let me cus have seen it’s not in the requirements neither is it in the rules but I just wish you won’t deny me this Opportunity 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I want to partake 🙏🏽

Hey @smilestitches!

We never require that you can only crochet for our contests...

"Your project should be needlework related, in any form of fiber arts that deal with knotting, braiding, felting and lacing or any form of manipulation of fabrics and yarns.

This above that's in the rules is a description of what crafts you can use which includes sewing. Needlework related means using a needle in your project so yes of course you can sew! 😃😆

This is one of the reasons why we have added in crafts like macramé for those who do not use a needle but it still has to be some form of manipulation to be considered. We try to accommodate as many as we can although we know everyone will not be able to join every contest.

I’m glad you like the idea of this contest. Have fun sewing your mother a beautiful wearable jewelry creation that’s well deserved!! 😊🤗

Wow great thank you so much @crosheille for the clarification 😂

Anytime! 😄😉
