Today is Monday again and I greet all our girls needlewomen! 💐🌷🌸
My friend gave me a sofa cushion. She sewed a cover for this herself. I really like this gift - it's very convenient and beautiful!
But every time I had to remove the cover and wash it, the pillow looked terrible as there was no inner cover. It got me thinking: sew this one. I still have pieces of old sheets that we no longer used. I decided to try it 🙄
I'm very glad I didn't throw this cloth away. I used a top case for size. Here's what happened 😊
To be honest, I am very satisfied. I was able to do it! 😁 I did not sew this cover completely, but at the top I sewed it in several places.
This is clearly seen here. I thought that the bottom cover would also need to be removed for washing, albeit not as often as the top cover. So if I sew this completely, it will be very inconvenient to take it off.
This is what my pillow looks like now! I was just washing the top cover and changing the covers on the sofa.
Now I'm brave to sew pillow covers 😅😉
This is beautiful
Many thanks!!!!
I couldn't help, but, to peruse your posts while I was here check the #MarketFriday. This is such a great idea and I do believe you are an almost expert pillow sewer now! :))
Seriously, that is how I learned. Jump right in and sew as you go.
Most excellent, Tali! @tali72
thank you very much my dear! 🌷🌷🌷 I'm glad you liked my pillow. you are very brave and you are great at sewing. I'm a bit of a coward but I will try 😃
