Una de los trabajos es reemplazar un elástico, como a muchas costureras no soy muy fan de hacer arreglos ya que llevan mucho tiempo y si es por trabajo la gente no tiene intenciones de pagar lo que valen.

Para reemplazar un elástico hay que desarmar toda la cintura, esto me tomo uno 20 o 30 minutos, también hay que quitar todos los hilos sueltos.

Para coser nuevamente el elástico es tan simple como planchar la cintura, yo uso plancha a vapor y rocío la prenda con un perfume para ropa para evitar que se queme, más en este caso que la tela es sintética.

Con el elástico medido y la cintura planchada hay que doblar medio cm para hacer borde ya que la tela estaba maltratada.

Después doble el ancho del elástico y cosí, todo el contorno dejando unos cm para que pase el elástico, metí todo el elástico y lo acomode, esta fue la peor parte jajaj tarde mucho haciendo eso porque hay que cuidar que el elástico no se doble, y una vez listo cosí por sobre el elástico así no se dobla, solo hice una costura por que hacer dos me daba pereza, estoy pensando en adquirir una aguja doble.

Se rompió mi enhebrador 😭 lo cual hace que no pueda bordar hasta tener otro, intente solucionarlo, pero no fue posible.

Si bien son muy baratos para conseguir unos nuevo debería ir al centro de mi ciudad y esta semana tengo más cosas que hacer, así que no sé si será posible.

Lo bueno es que estos enhebradores son muy baratos, alrededor de un dolar, asi que cuando vaya a comprar voy a adquirir varios para que esto no vuelva a suceder, esto fue todo por hoy.

I agree, many people do not want to pay properly for alterations. Taking out the old stitches is more work than sewing new ones.
yes, totally, many times sprucing up or modifying a garment is just as laborious as making one from scratch.
No cuento con la paciencia ni la habilidad para hacer estas cosas, menos si se me rompiera mi enhebrador.
