Algo que siempre me gusta hacer en mi tiempo libre son las manualidades o las intervenciones artísticas. No siempre tengo el tiempo suficiente, pero cada vez que puedo, aprovecho esos ratos para dedicarle mi creatividad a diferentes cosas. Una de ellas es el reciclaje.
No hay nada mas lindo que poder darle una segunda vida útil a aquellos residuos que simplemente se desechan contaminando cada vez mas nuestro planeta.
Por esa razón, aquí les traigo este bello alhajero a base de una lata de crema desechada, con la intención de incentivar a disfrutar de esta noble y reconfortante actividad.

Hace unos días fuimos con mi familia a disfrutar la cálida tarde a un rio que queda cerca de casa. En cada ocasión, solemos llevar algo de comida, bebidas, y por lo general, también llevamos algunas bolsas para recoger todo el plástico residual que encontremos en la zona. pues suele ocurrir que cuando hay crecida, algunos días previos, la corriente arrastra mucha basura que queda desparramada por el lugar y opaca esos bellos paisajes.
tratamos de juntar toda la basura posible para luego, al volver a nuestro hogar, desecharla donde corresponde.

En esta ultima ocasión, encontré esta lata de aluminio que contenía, lo que parecía ser, restos de crema para manos. Como aun conservaba la tapa, decidí separarla del resto de los residuos para darle una segunda vida útil.
¿Sabias que el aluminio es el tercer elemento natural mas presente en la corteza terrestre?. También es uno de los materiales mas utilizados en la industria debido a su versatilidad. Pero el impacto ambiental del mismo es muy grave. ya que es altamente contaminante.
Una lata de aluminio tarda aproximadamente 10 años en biodegradarse. No solo es un tiempo considerable, sino que también es peligroso, ya que durante su degradación, este material expulsa gases de efecto invernadero.

Bien, ahora les cuento un poco sobre como intervine y transforme esta latita de crema para manos en un bello alhajero.
lo primero que hice fue limpiar la lata por completo. para ello la deje reposar por un buen rato en un recipiente con agua caliente para poder retirar la etiqueta desgastada y ablandar el pegamento.
una vez limpia, tome una lija de grano grueso para retirar el oxido que se estaba generando por la corrosión y luego volví a lijar, esta vez con una lija de grano fino para suavizar toda la superficie.

En cuanto al diseño, la verdad que me llevó un rato decidir qué iba a pintar.
observando a mi al rededor, en busca de algo que me genere inspiración, encontré una setas de hongos creciendo sobre la corteza de una rama que había caído de un árbol un tiempo atrás y rápidamente decidí hacer una mini pintura sobre ello.
Comencé por la tapa, ya que al ser plana, se me hizo mas cómodo.
entonces cogí un lápiz y dibuje un boceto sobre la superficie para luego comenzar a pintar sobre él con mas seguridad.
As for the design, the truth is that it took me a while to decide what I was going to paint. looking around me, looking for something to inspire me, I found a mushroom growing on the bark of a branch that had fallen from a tree some time ago and I quickly decided to make a mini painting on it.I started with the lid, since being flat made it more comfortable for me.
So I took a pencil and drew a sketch on the surface to then start painting on it with more confidence.
Decidí que quería que el diseño sea algo vintage, por lo que la paleta de colores que iba a utilizar, debían ser de este tipo.
Acudí a la aplicación Pinterest para buscar referencias sobre este tipo de paletas de colores y cuando me decidí por los tonos que quería implementar para mi diseño, comencé a mezclar varios colores de pintura acrílica hasta lograr imitar, lo mejor posible, los tonos que había escogido.
Cuando conseguí lograr esos colores, me di cuenta que iba a tener que pintar el resto de la lata al mismo tiempo, debido que al ser tonos particulares, si estos se secaban rápido, iba a ser difícil volver a lograrlos para pintar la otra parte.
I decided that I wanted the design to be something vintage, so the color palette that I was going to use had to be of this type.I went to the Pinterest application to look for references on these types of color palettes and when I decided on the tones that I wanted to implement for my design, I began to mix several colors of acrylic paint until I managed to imitate, as well as possible, the tones that I had chosen. .
When I managed to achieve those colors, I realized that I was going to have to paint the rest of the can at the same time, because since they were particular tones, if they dried quickly, it would be difficult to achieve them again to paint the other part.
Cuando terminé de pintar los hongos y las hojas caídas, delinee todo el dibujo con gris oscuro.
De por si, el diseño me gustaba, pero sentía que aun le faltaba algún detalle que terminara de completar el diseño. entonces se me ocurrió pintar una libélula sobre el hongo central ya que me encantan estos insectos. solo la pinté con acrílico negro para no sobrecargar de colores.
Para finalizar, cogí un borrador y elimine los trazos de lápiz que aun se veían y listo! así quedo el resultado final.

When I finished painting the mushrooms and the fallen leaves, I outlined the entire drawing with dark gray.In itself, I liked the design, but I felt that some detail was still missing to complete the design. then it occurred to me to paint a dragonfly on the central mushroom since I love these insects. I only painted it with black acrylic so as not to overload with colors.
To finish, I took an eraser and removed the pencil marks that were still visible and voila! This is how the final result was.
