Volvemos a decorar como siempre lo hacemos según los gustos. Es una tradición especialmente de la zona oriental del país, al celebrarse el 2 de febrero el día de La virgen de la Candelaria. Los venezolanos damos por concluido todo lo relacionado con la navidad e iniciamos con la elaboración de todo lo concerniente al carnaval. Así que vamos a decorar febrero con PEONIA. Los colores son similares a los de la 🐞 mariquita; rojo y negro. Veamos.
Hello friends, I hope you are very well today. In Venezuela we officially conclude the time of giving happy new year and having the Christmas decorations. Today we pick up and empty the house again. We go back to decorate as we always do according to taste. It is a tradition especially in the eastern part of the country, celebrating on February 2 the day of the Virgin of Candelaria. Venezuelans conclude everything related to Christmas and start with the elaboration of everything concerning the carnival. So let's decorate February with PEONIA. The colors are similar to those of the 🐞 ladybug; red and black. Let's see.
La PEONIA es una planta preciosa que da unas semillas muy lindas y duraderas. Estas semillas son de color rojo con una gran parte de su tamaño pintada de negro. Siempre la asemejo con una mariquita 🐞 porque ambos me encantan. Estás semillas son muy usadas para hacer accesorios, bisutería y joyas. Hace días conseguí unas semillas y hoy me inspiré en ellas para realizar un bello tapete tejido a CROCHET.
The PEONY is a beautiful plant that gives very nice and long lasting seeds. These seeds are red in color with a large part of their size painted black. I always resemble it with a ladybug 🐞 because I love both of them. These seeds are widely used to make accessories, costume jewelry and jewelry. A few days ago I got some seeds and today I was inspired by them to make a beautiful CROCHET knitted rug.

Para realizar este bello tapete utilicé los siguientes materiales:
- Hilo pabilo color rojo.
- Hilo pabilo color negro.
- Aguja de crochet de 3,5mm.
- Tijeras.
To make this beautiful mat I used the following materials:
- Thread wick red color.
- Black colored wick yarn.
- Crochet needle of 3,5mm.
- Scissors.
Procedimiento.Procedure.
- Empecé tejiendo con el hilo color rojo. Inicié con un anillo mágico de 20 puntos altos dobles. Cierro la vuelta con punto deslizado. Sobre ese punto inicio la segunda vuelta con una cadena de 4 puntos. Inmediatamente tejo un punto alto sobre el punto alto doble de la vuelta anterior. Luego 1 cadena y después 1 punto alto sobre el siguiente punto. De este modo siguiendo el patrón 1cadena-1punto alto tejo toda la vuelta. Cierro con 1punto deslizado. La tercera vuelta la empiezo desde dentro del punto cadena de separación del primer punto de la vuelta anterior. Empiezo con 1punto bajo, luego tejo 5cadenas, cuento dos puntos altos de la vuelta anterior y dentro del espacio de 1cadena tejo 1punto bajo. Toda la vuelta tejo el siguiente patrón: 1pb-5cd-1pb dejando sin trabajar dos espacios de puntos altos de la vuelta anterior. De esta forma se logran los arcos, diez en total.
- I started knitting with the red yarn. I started with a magic ring of 20 double double crochet stitches. I close the row with a slip stitch. On that stitch I start the second row with a chain of 4 stitches. Immediately I knit a double crochet over the double crochet of the previous row. Then 1 chain and then 1 double crochet over the next stitch. In this way following the pattern 1chain-1high stitch I knit the whole round. I close with 1 slip stitch. The third row I start from inside the chain stitch of the first stitch of the previous row. I start with 1 single crochet, then I knit 5 chains, count two double crochet stitches from the previous row and inside the space of 1 chain I knit 1 single crochet. The whole row I knit the following pattern: 1pb-5cd-1pb leaving two spaces of the previous row without working. In this way the arches are achieved, ten in total.
- Ahora tomo el hilo negro y lo engancho para empezar a tejer con él. Tejo 1punto bajo en el primer arco e inmediatamente me paso al siguiente para tejer 9 puntos altos allí dentro. Luego de tejer los 9 pa paso al siguiente arco y tejo 9puntos altos. Sigo ese patrón por toda la vuelta y ahora tengo 5 arcos rellenos de puntos altos cada uno. Cierro con punto deslizado.
- Now I take the black yarn and hook it to start knitting with it. I knit 1 low stitch in the first bow and immediately move to the next bow to knit 9 high stitches in there. After I knit the 9 stitches, I move to the next bow and knit 9 double crochet stitches. I follow that pattern all the way around and now I have 5 arches filled with double crochet stitches each. I close with slip stitch.
- La siguiente vuelta tejo solamente puntos altos. 1 punto alto sobre cada punto separados por 1 cadena. Entonces empiezo la vuelta levantando una cadena de 4 puntos y el resto es 1pa y 1cadena por toda la vuelta.
- The next round I knit only double crochet. 1 double crochet over each stitch separated by 1 chain. Then I start the row by picking up a chain of 4 stitches and the rest is 1pa and 1 chain for the whole row.
- La última vuelta tejo igual, solamente puntos altos sobre cada punto alto separados por 1 cadena. Al finalizar tejo un punto deslizado. Cortó la hebra y con la ayuda del mismo gancho de crochet escondo las hebras.
- The last row I knit the same, only double crochet over each double crochet separated by 1 chain. At the end I knit a slip stitch. I cut the strand and with the help of the same crochet hook I hide the strands.
- Así queda terminado este bello tapete diseño de PEONIA 🐞 me encanta como se ve. Se pueden hacer posavasos con ellos, para ello tejemos hasta la penúltima vuelta. ¿Qué te ha parecido este diseño?
