Hola amigos 👋🏽 ¿Cómo están el día de hoy? Yo bastante bien, el día está súper fresco. Quiero mostrarles un amigurumi que realicé usando algunos retacitos de hilos de los que tengo en la cesta. Me da mucha risa 😄 cuando veo o leo a otras tejedoras diciendo que van a usar sobrantes de hilos y sacan ovillos como de 80 gramos 😁 y yo quedo impactada 😂 porque mis sobrantes son estos.

Hi friends 👋🏽 How are you today? Me pretty good, the day is super cool. I want to show you an amigurumi I made using some yarn scraps I have in the basket. It makes me laugh 😄 when I see or read other knitters saying that they are going to use leftover yarns and they take out 80 grams balls 😁 and I'm shocked 😂 because my leftovers are these.

Con estos poquitos de hilos de vez en cuando realizo algunas aplicaciones como mariposas, rosas, diversos modelos de flores y algunos otros apliques más. En esta ocasión quise atreverme a tejer un amigurumi. Yo quería tejer un búho 🦉 desde hace tiempo porque es un animalito que me encanta tejer o hacer con cualquier otro material. Son adorables. Los materiales que usé para tejerlo son los siguientes:

🦉 Retazos o sobrantes de hilos pabilos.
🦉 Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
🦉 Algodón para rellenar.
🦉 Aguja lanera.
🦉 Ojos plásticos color negro.
🦉 Pegamento.
🦉 Tijeras.

With these little yarns from time to time I make some applications such as butterflies, roses, various models of flowers and some other appliqués. This time I wanted to dare to knit an amigurumi. I wanted to knit an owl 🦉 for a long time because it is a little animal that I love to knit or make with any other material. They are adorable. The materials I used to knit it are as follows:

🦉 Scraps or leftover yarn wicks.
🦉 2.25mm crochet needle.
🦉 Cotton for stuffing.
🦉 Wool needle.
🦉 Black plastic eyes.
🦉 Glue.
🦉 Scissors.

🦉 El procedimiento que seguí para hacerlo fue empezar a tejer desde la cabeza con el color de hilo que tenía mayor cantidad. Iniciando desde un anillo mágico de 6pb. Hice crecer el círculo hasta la vuelta de 4pb-1aum. Seguidamente tejí 6 vueltas sin aumentos e inicié las siguientes con disminuciones hasta obtener 12 puntos bajos. Cerré la vuelta y dejé el hilo largo para coser luego al cuerpo.

🦉 The procedure I followed to do this was to start knitting from the head with the yarn color that had the most yarn. Starting from a magic ring of 6pb. I grew the circle up to the 4pb-1aum round. Then I knit 6 rows without increases and started the following rows with decreases until I had 12 single crochets. I closed the round and left the long yarn to sew to the body.

🦉 Del mismo modo tomando retacitos de hilos de diferentes colores empecé a tejer el cuerpo. Inicié desde 6pb en un anillo mágico. Enseguida tejí vueltas de aumentos para que el cuerpo del búho en la parte de la base se viera gordita. Alcanzado el tamaño y el ancho tejí vueltas sin aumentos. Lo hice crecer hasta la vuelta 5pb-1aum. Al lograr el tamaño del alto inicié con las disminuciones. Lo mejor es que si lo haces puedes hacerlo del tamaño que desees.

🦉 In the same way taking snippets of yarns of different colors I started to knit the body. I started from 6pb in a magic ring. Then I knitted increasing rows so that the body of the owl at the base would look chubby. Once I reached the size and width, I knitted rows without increases. I made it grow up to the 5pb-1aum row. When I reached the size of the height I started with the decreases. The best thing is that if you do this you can make it any size you want.

🦉 Al ver ya tejidas estas dos piezas listas me animé más ya que lo que faltaba iba a ocupar menos hilos. Así que seguí para completar todas las piezas.

🦉 Seeing these two pieces already knitted and ready I was more encouraged since what was missing was going to take up less yarn. So I continued to complete all the pieces.

🦉 Con hilos azules tejí las alas y las orejas. Tejiendo siempre desde un anillo mágico. Te recuerdo que este fue un proyecto random, prácticamente improvisado. Me dió por tejer y usar estos retazos y decidí tejer un búho 🦉. Espero poder adquirir pronto muchos nuevos hilos porque me siento fatal cuando no tejo.

🦉 With blue threads I wove the wings and ears. Always weaving from a magic ring. I remind you that this was a random project, practically improvised. I got the urge to knit and use these scraps and decided to knit an owl 🦉. I hope to acquire many new yarns soon because I feel terrible when I don't knit.

🦉 Con el hilo blanco y un pedacito de fieltro le realicé sus grandes ojos. Para la parte blanca si tuve que usar del ovillo que tenía en uso porque los sobrantes no eran de color blanco sino color crudo.

🦉 With the white yarn and a small piece of felt I made her big eyes. For the white part I had to use the yarn I had in use because the leftovers were not white but ecru.

🦉 Teniendo todas las partes tejidas procedí a unir con aguja lanera. Uno la cabeza al cuerpo. Luego los bracitos. Después cosí las orejas y sus grandes y bellos ojos.

🦉 Having all the parts knitted I proceeded to join with wool needle. One the head to the body. Then the little arms. Then I sewed the ears and her big beautiful eyes.

🦉 Por último le coloqué un pico de color anaranjado con un poquito de hilo que estaba en la cesta 🧺, este pico lo bordé con la guja lanera. Al final de cuentas el búho 🦉 colorido me encantó. Así que me acompaña ahora en mis horas de descanso y la siesta 😀

🦉 Finally I placed an orange beak with a little bit of thread that was in the basket 🧺, I embroidered this beak with the wool guja. At the end of the day I loved the colorful 🦉 owl. So it accompanies me now in my hours of rest and nap 😀.
