Saludos, comunidad de Hive Diy.
Para esta ocasión me sumo a la iniciativa correspondiente al signo de acuario, la cual puedes leer aquí. Tengo una prima que es acuariana y quise aprovechar esta actividad para hacerle un adorno y regalárselo por su cumpleaños. Utilicé el arte del puntillismo, el cual me gusta mucho, pues crea un efecto visual muy hermoso.

Materiales
- Lápiz, goma de borrar y sacapuntas.
- Hojas reutilizables.
- Tijera.
- Vidrio plano, del tamaño de su preferencia.
- Pinturas del color de tu preferencia.
- Pinceles y palillos.
- Servilletas.
- Esponja.
- Cartulina.
- Pistola de Silicón.
Procedimiento
Tomamos nuestro vidrio y lo limpiamos con agua y jabón para eliminar cualquier resto de polvo o grasa. Luego, lo secamos bien con un trapo. En una hoja reutilizable dibujamos la circunferencia de nuestro vidrio para así saber nuestros límites. Dibujamos nuestro diseño a mano alzada; si te dificulta dibujar puedes imprimir el diseño de tu preferencia y utilizarlo como patrón.

Tomamos nuestro vidrio y lo colocamos arriba de nuestro boceto. Seleccionamos las pinturas de colores de acuerdo con nuestro diseño, para este caso, elegí el amarillo, rojo, verde, azul, blanco y negro.

Tomamos un pincel, esta vez no utilizaremos las celdas, sino que vamos a utilizar la punta trasera, esto para así crear los puntos que definirán todo nuestro diseño. Mojamos la punta trasera del pincel en la pintura, Y luego, suavemente sin hacer presión, tocamos el vidrio. Comencé pintando lo que es el jarrón, utilizando el color amarillo, rojo, verde y blanco.

Repetimos este proceso siguiendo nuestro patrón para crear puntos de diferentes colores y tamaños. El mayor desafío es mantener la uniformidad en el tamaño; sin embargo, estos puntos pueden variar en sus dimensiones, y también se debe tomar en cuenta el tamaño del pincel. Puedes usar palillos de brochetas para crear puntos más pequeños.

Una vez terminado el jarrón pinté el agua, utilizando varios tonos de azul, en este caso mezclé el azul oscuro y blanco, para así crear varias tonalidades azules. La idea es crear un efecto de contraste de luz y que el diseño resalte más.

No necesitas esperar a que los puntos en el vidrio se sequen, pues mientras vas pintando ellos se irán secando poco a poco. Si se te daña un punto, te recomiendo borrarlo con un pañito mojado. Hazlo con mucho cuidado para que no dañes el resto de puntos sobre la base de vidrio.
Cabe resaltar que complementé el diseño con otros símbolos, para así darle un toque personal al adorno. Le agregué una mandala con los colores base que empleé en todo el diseño.

Dejamos secar unas horas, y una vez los puntos de pintura estén secos, tomamos una esponja, le cortamos un trozo y con la pintura negra cubrimos todo nuestro diseño, para que así resalte más los colores que utilizamos y que corresponden al signo de acuario.
Deja secar el adorno al menos por media hora.

Finalmente, creé una base para que el adorno se pueda sostenerse en lugares fijos; utilicé cartulina y diseñé un soporte para agregarlo a la parte posterior del vidrio. Este símbolo de acuario es perfecto para ambientar tu casa y darle un toque más colorido.

Y de esta manera obtenemos nuestro adorno inspirado en el signo zodiacal de acuario. Espero que se animen a hacerlo, e incluso personalizar sus propios diseños. Me despido esperando que les haya gustado el resultado.

For this occasion I join the initiative corresponding to the sign of aquarius, which you can read here. I have a cousin who is an Aquarian and I wanted to take advantage of this activity to make her an ornament and give it to her for her birthday. I used the art of pointillism, which I really like, as it creates a very beautiful visual effect.
I hope you enjoy it and put it into practice!
Materials
- Pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener.
- Reusable sheets.
- Scissors.
- Flat glass, size of your choice.
- Paints in the color of your choice.
- Brushes and toothpicks.
- Napkins.
- Sponge.
- Cardboard.
- Silicone gun.
Procedure
We take our glass and clean it with soap and water to remove any dust or grease. Then, we dry it well with a cloth. On a reusable sheet of paper we draw the circumference of our glass to know our limits. We draw our design freehand; if you find it difficult to draw you can print the design of your choice and use it as a pattern.

We take our glass and place it on top of our sketch. We select the color paints according to our design, for this case, I chose yellow, red, green, blue, white and black.

We take a brush, this time we will not use the cells, but we are going to use the back tip, this in order to create the points that will define our entire design. We dip the back tip of the brush in the paint, and then, gently without pressure, we touch the glass. I started painting what is the vase, using yellow, red, green and white.

We repeat this process following our pattern to create dots of different colors and sizes. The biggest challenge is to maintain uniformity in size; however, these dots can vary in their dimensions, and the size of the brush must also be taken into account. You can use skewer sticks to create smaller dots.

Once the vase was finished I painted the water, using various shades of blue, in this case I mixed dark blue and white, to create various shades of blue. The idea is to create a contrasting light effect and make the design stand out more.

You don't need to wait for the dots on the glass to dry, because while you are painting they will dry little by little. If you damage a dot, I recommend you erase it with a wet cloth. Do it very carefully so you do not damage the rest of the dots on the glass base.
It is worth mentioning that I complemented the design with other symbols, to give a personal touch to the ornament. I added a mandala with the base colors I used throughout the design.

Let it dry for a few hours, and once the paint dots are dry, take a sponge, cut a piece of it and cover all our design with the black paint, so that the colors we use and that correspond to the aquarium sign stand out more.
Let the ornament dry for at least half an hour.

Finally, I created a base so that the ornament can be held in fixed places; I used cardboard and designed a support to add it to the back of the glass. This aquarium symbol is perfect for setting the mood in your home and giving it a more colorful touch.
