Hello dear #DIY friends!
Yesterday I wrote an article and wrote you a recipe for Frutti di Mare. Do you see the mussels on the plate?

The mussel shells did not go into the trash. I made this out of them.
Just put the shells on a cardboard and glue them with hot glue. Then cut out your "flower".
Paint and decorate the "flower" as you like.
Do not forget to attach the hanger.
I sprayed clear varnish over it to make it shine more. (first image)
Since I still had a few shells left and it was fun I made a second "flower".
I hope I could give you some good creative ideas.

I saw these, beautyful <3
You have brought me luck. So many people have given me an upvote.
What a pretty shell-star! A great way to use up the unedible parts of your food for art material. Now I'm imagining all the things you could make of various types of bones...
mmh, I'll have to think about that. Normally the dog gets that.😄
From beef bones or fish waste, one usually makes a sauce or soup stock.
Okay, I'd say so much for the art then... But honestly, isn't a tasty dish as artistic than anything visual? Even for the dog! 😁
Sometimes. When cooking, you don't necessarily have to follow a recipe if you have a sense of good taste. It's the same with the artist. A pastry chef, on the other hand, must always stick to the recipe.
Yes, I can see how that works. Though it makes me think: how did pastry chefs come up with new (and delicious) pastry recipes? 🤔
😂 good question. They learn or create new recipes from their mistakes.😂
