It's been a while since I got 3D printing jobs where I had to sit down and paint, when it's a few pieces I don't have problems because for me it's almost therapeutic to paint, it's hard to find the time and do it with patience to get it right, but the times when I get several painting jobs and I have little time and they need me to deliver it fast, that's really stressful for me, but at least I earn good money.
Ya hace un buen tiempo no me llegaban trabajos de impresión 3D donde tenia que sentarme a pintar, cuando son algunas piezas no tengo problemas porque para mí es casi terapéutico pintar cuesta encontrar el tiempo sumado a hacerlo con paciencia para que quede bien, pero las veces donde me llegan varios trabajos de pintura sumado a contar con poco tiempo y que lo necesiten que lo entregue rápido eso es realmente estresante para mí, pero al menos gano un buen dinero.

En esta ocasión me pidieron de mates de Stitch y un posavasos del personaje Depredador de Alíen Vs Depredador por suerte todos me los pidieron con tiempo peor no voy a negarlo, me estresé de todas formas jajaja, aunque tuve el tiempo para hacerlos y que quedaran bien prolijos.
To start this type of work I give a budget and an estimated delivery time, then I have to place the print files in the program to configure the piece and send them to print on my machines. For a matte to be economically profitable it should take between 8 or 10 hours of printing, if it takes more time the costs skyrocket and end up not being very competitive prices.
Para empezar este tipo de trabajos paso un presupuesto y un tiempo estimado de entrega, luego tengo que colocar los archivos de impresión en el programa para configurar la pieza y los mando a imprimir en mis maquinas. For Stitch's matte I use blue plastic to save me the time and acrylic to paint all the matte so I save time and I can start painting the other details, the same thing I do with Angel's matte. When I have everything painted and I am satisfied I wait for it to dry to put 2 or 3 coats of matte varnish to protect the paint, so on that side I just have to wait for it to dry and the smell of paint to go away, besides clearly gluing the internal polymer that will contain the hot water for the matte.
Para los mates de Stitch utilizo plástico de color azul para ahorrarme el tiempo y el acrílico de pintar todo el mate así que por ese lado ahorro tiempo y ya puedo comenzar a pintar los otros detalles, lo mismo hago con el mate de Ángel. Cuando ya tengo todo pintado y estoy conforme espero a que seque para colocarle 2 o 3 capas de barniz mate para protegerla pintura así que por ese lado solo queda esperar a que se seque y se le vaya el olor a pintura, además claramente de pegar el polímero interno que contendrá el agua caliente para el mate.

I checked some reference images and luckily it wasn't too much work, black for the dreadlocks and eyes, gold for the hair details and a little red for the lasers points of the mask also in this one I used varnish to protect the paint, but I made the mistake of doing it before it dried well so the gold paint ran a little and I had to paint those details again.
Luego mande a imprimir este lapicero de Depredador, me sorprendió bastante el pedido porque era la primera vez que lo iba a hacer, tuve que buscar el archivo por internet y comprarlo para poder imprimirlo, al igual que con los mates utilice un color base gris de material para ahorrarme ese tiempo de pintura y solo me enfoque en pintar los detalles. Revise algunas imágenes de referencia y por suerte no fue mucho trabajo, negro para las rastas y ojos, dorado para los detalles en el pelo y un poco de rojo para los puntos lasers de la máscara también en este utilice barniz para proteger la pintura, pero cometí el error de hacerlo antes de que secara bien así que se me corrió un poco la pintura dorada lo que provoco que tuviera que pintar esos detalles de nuevo.

Okey, nunca había considerado lo del tema de los personajes pero voy a estar más atento con eso y con respecto a lo de la miniatura voy a probar armar una para mis proximos posteos, tal vez pruebo un mes a ver que tal y si le agarro la mano voy a comenzar a implementarlo, me gusta la idea, generalmente me gusta usar una imagen característica del post a modo de resumen pero es verdad que en la miniatura podria mostrar más cosas para atrapar al posible lector

Amigo el Stich es un personaje muy carismático, la del depredador quedo bastante bueno.
