People seem to forget how many games these days cost an arm and a leg and then the creators just book it as soon as it stops being as popular, leaving a broken game that can't even be played, because the servers are down.

There have been a lot of scam games that are Web 3 and play to earn. There have also been a lot that just aren't that fun. Or ones that were okay but the creators made a bad decision down the road.

The true question is the cost to you and if it was fun. If it cost $50 and wasn't even fun, then that sucks. But if the actual cost is only maybe $5 or $10 and maybe you actually made that back and had fun, then I think it's definitely worth it.

There are also a lot of games with online assets that just eat your money...
