I think what you guys are doing is great. Not only have by you all built by a bond through your past service, you're also contributing back to society and helping those in need. Hat's off to you all.
If you're worried about missing information from the meeting you can always ask the others if they're ok for you to record it so you can listen back if needed. There are many free recording apps on phones nowadays.
And there's nothing called a too long post as long as you're not waffling or bs, don't worry about that.
Thank you. I hope the kids think it is great too. We just want to continue serving in some way. It is a matter of finding purpose for me again, which I have struggled with for a while since retiring medically.
I tried using the standard recording app that comes with my phone. It just doesn't catch most of the conversations. Especially if people are further from the phone. We have discussed this, and are looking at solutions like you recommend.
You never have to worry about a post being too long from me. I am usually a short order blogger, haha.
