Desde mediados de noviembre comenzaron las decoraciones en los centros comerciales y a muchos, entre los cuales me incluyo, nos cayó la ficha de lo que se estaba aproximando.
Se va terminando el año y comienza una etapa muy especial. Para muchos es una etapa de balances, de mirar hacia atrás, de observar el camino recorrido en el transcurso del año.
Para otros en cambio es una época de gran sensibilidad, de amor, de recordar a quienes ya no están en este plano terrenal. De una u otra manera puedo decirles que son fechas que no pasan desapercibidas para muchos de nosotros.
La proximidad de la Navidad ya se puede percibir, se respira en el aire. Podemos percibirlo en la energía de las personas con las que nos relacionamos a diario.
Desde pequeño el mes de diciembre era muy esperado, un mes de muchas emociones. Se terminaba el año escolar y si habíamos sido aplicados durante el año nos esperaban algo más de dos meses de vacaciones.
Diciembre era un mes de reencuentros ya que nos juntábamos en la casa de mi tía con todos mis primos, a muchos de los cuales veíamos únicamente en esa época del año cuando venían a la ciudad con motivo de las festividades decembrinas.
Cuantos recuerdos se reavivan cada vez que me pongo a pensar en aquellas lindas épocas. Como se podrán imaginar por lo que les estoy contando, la navidad era todo una fiesta para mí.
En casa de mis padres se armaba el árbol de navidad y se decoraba la casa el 8 de diciembre, en conmemoración de nuestra virgen Patrona, Inmaculada Concepción de María.
Recuerdo que ese mismo día algo cambiaba en el ambiente. Esperábamos ansiosos la caída del sol para apagar las luces y que nuestro árbol comenzara a regalarnos destellos multicolores.
Mi madre cada año nos explicaba cuál era el sentido de la navidad más allá de esperar un regalo de Papá Noel. Así fue que crecimos sabiendo que en la navidad se conmemoraba y se festejaba la llegada o el nacimiento del niño Jesús, con todo lo que ello significa.
Por aquellos años la navidad es un día mágico donde cualquier cosa podía suceder. A medida que fuimos creciendo y sabiendo de donde provenían los regalos debo confesar que parte de la magia se perdió, al menos por un instante, pero rápidamente entendí que los más grandes eramos los que teníamos que mantener viva esa magia para nuestros hermanos y primos más pequeños.
Hoy intento continuar la tradición familiar y de transmitirles a mis hijas toda esa magia, esas emociones que viví de pequeño. Más allá de que uno intente complacer con los regalos a mis hijas, lo importante es el sentido de esa tan emotiva fecha.
Si dudas hay mucho para festejar y agradecer. Contar con salud, tener la posibilidad de estar juntos, y de todos los obstáculos que se van superando en los procesos.
No hay emoción más grande cuando llegan las 00:00 horas del día 25 de diciembre que abrazarlas fuerte y decirles todo lo que las amo.
Mantengamos vivo a ese niño que alguna vez fuimos y del cual está guardado en nuestro interior y revivamos ese sentido que tiene la navidad teniendo bien presente al niño Jesús en nuestros corazones.

Since mid-November, the decorations in the shopping malls began and many, including myself, were aware of what was coming.
The year is coming to an end and a very special stage begins. For many it is a time of balance, of looking back, of observing the road traveled during the course of the year.
For others it is a time of great sensitivity, of love, of remembering those who are no longer on this earthly plane. One way or another I can tell you that these are dates that do not go unnoticed for many of us.
The proximity of Christmas can already be perceived, it is in the air. We can perceive it in the energy of the people we interact with on a daily basis.
Since I was a child, the month of December was long awaited, a month of many emotions. It was the end of the school year and if we had been diligent during the year, a little more than two months of vacation awaited us.
December was a month of reunions as we would gather at my aunt's house with all my cousins, many of whom we only saw at that time of the year when they came to the city for the Christmas holidays.
How many memories are rekindled every time I think about those beautiful times. As you can imagine from what I am telling you, Christmas was a big party for me.
At my parents' house, the Christmas tree was put up and the house was decorated on December 8, in commemoration of our Patron Virgin, the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
I remember that on that same day something changed in the atmosphere. We waited anxiously for the sunset to turn off the lights and for our tree to begin to give us multicolored sparkles.
Every year my mother would explain to us what the meaning of Christmas was beyond waiting for a gift from Santa Claus. That is how we grew up knowing that Christmas commemorated and celebrated the arrival or birth of the baby Jesus, with all that it means.
In those years Christmas was a magical day where anything could happen. As we got older and knowing where the gifts came from I must confess that part of the magic was lost, at least for a moment, but I quickly understood that the older ones were the ones who had to keep that magic alive for our younger siblings and cousins.
Today I try to continue the family tradition and to pass on to my daughters all that magic, those emotions that I experienced as a child. Beyond the fact that I try to please my daughters with gifts, the important thing is the meaning of such an emotional date.
There is undoubtedly a lot to celebrate and be thankful for. Being healthy, having the possibility of being together, and all the obstacles that are overcome in the process.
There is no greater emotion when the 00:00 hours of December 25th arrive than to hug them tightly and tell them how much I love them.
Let's keep alive that child that we once were and which is kept inside us and revive that sense that Christmas has, keeping the baby Jesus in our hearts.

Momentos del años maravillosos que llaman a la unión familiar y a esos lindos reencuentros que no se porque pero en el transcurso del año uno termina posponiendo.
También una linda época para reencontrarnos con ese niño que alguna vez fuimos y volver a revivir bellos momentos.

This year has been very fleeting, dear friend @pablo1601, I think many of us were surprised to see the decorations in the stores, to set foot on the ground that we were very close to these beautiful celebrations, where love, peace and sensitivity reign.
What a great tradition to get the family together on December 8th to assemble the tree, beautiful memories that are never forgotten.

When Christmas comes I sort of forget about the rest of the year, I get really comfortable and just take in the present atmosphere. Then I get sad when it ends, aha
¡Hola hermano!. Este post pareciera que lo hubiera escrito yo en el pasado, porque describes la temporada navideña con tanta magia y con la dosis de familia correcta. De hecho me he sentido mal al leerte, y darme cuenta de que esta será mi segunda navidad triste, de hecho más que la anterior, pero con la fe de que todo pueda cambiar a futuro aunque las heridas nunca se borren.
Las fotografías de tu familia son maravillosas, se siente la felicidad y se transmite a través de las imágenes... Comparto contigo el sentimiento al descubrir de donde venían los regalos jajaja, y yo me enteré como a los 11 años 😅 pero cada Navidad fue especial a su manera y atesoro esos recuerdos con el corazón. Gracias por este post hermano...
Es asi amigo, la navidad sin duda alguna es un mes de reconciliacion, de amor, de recordar la bondad y buscar la union familiar. Saludos!

Amo el mes de diciembre porque ademas de la Natividad del niño Jesús, el 8 día de la Inmaculada nació mi hijo Jesús. Doy gracias a Dios por tenerlo a mi lado.
