Guys by now there is no need to you I'm a huge fan of YA fiction, most especially when it involves the LGBTQIAP+ genre.
Full disclosure is a book that I'm really glad to have read, cos this was relatable on some level.

The basic plot: In a community that isn't always understanding, an HIV-positive teen Simone, navigate her way through fear, disclosure, and radical self-acceptance when she falls in love and lust for the first time.

First of I loved how this read was very easy for me to get in, without any stress. From there on it's a rollercoaster ride.

With topics ranging from living as an HIV-positive individual to stigmatization, queerness, racism, classism, sexual identity, bullying, sex and sexual health, love, friendship, self-acceptance, and abstinence.
Also, given the representation of the characters (POC), I'd say it portrayed diversity enough.

I loved how this book was very informative and educating with the topics it centered on. And this reminds me of the poor education system in Nigeria high school when it comes to teaching about sex education and HIV/AIDS. which is why I feel despite the medication and treatment for HIV have come so far, the stigmatization, ignorance, and misconceptions from the public hasn't given the conversations I've had with some individuals (one believing James Brown πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ physical structure is due to the fact his positive, a positive woman who died during the process of giving birth is because she is HIV positive and they do lose a lot of blood when giving birth, the list is more).

I felt the author did try to relate the main subject to the LGBTQ+ community due to how it greatly affected the community back in the 1990s.

Garrett did a good job with this book, and I do recommend reading this ASAP.

PS: miles 😍😍😍😍
PSS: Simone's dads were cringy for me please 🌚 (notwithstanding, they were sweet though).
