RE: MAX Splinterlands Proposal Support

in Splinterlands4 months ago

Sorry to see this post late after another weekend camping, but this is a great call to action for the Web3 gaming community. Splinterlands is designed to be run by a DAO of its participants and I'm so excited for Steem Monsters Inc to be naming those steps to solidify that future with the validator node software.

The next and crucially final step, for the SPSDAO after the node software release is to ratify a 4-year plan (cycle dependent?) to ensure future rewards for battles (ranked/tourney/brawl), land, and node validators/holders. The voting can be set up like it was for tournaments and different ideas will need a threshold of SPS funding just like the DHF proposal works with Hive Power.

Finally, a fairly strong and valid called shot at the SPL community for not holding onto its Hive if/when acquired. For my first year on Hive I would only put my hive to the LP with vouchers while maintaining 420 HP between my accounts. Over my 2.5 years I've likely tripled that close to 1200 HP with a growing stack in HBD.

Since the day I committed to doing the actifit and BOTD content earlier this year, I've kept all my rewards on Hive instead of taking them to Splinterlands. Any of my Hive staking rewards from my stake of BEE I've pumped into HP on those power-up days. Need more Bees!

Not such a great sign that Splinterlands missed the first day of funding without some big Hiver voters. Dang!
