If there is to be a starter pack, I think it needs to be a bit cheaper than the value of the cards it contains. As far as I'm concerned, these cards should be given soulbound status.

But if the cards are worth less than what you would have paid for the starter pack, that would be an absolute failure and would only demotivate new players.

I see your point, and making starter pack cards soulbound could help prevent market devaluation while ensuring new players have access to useful cards. A small discount on the pack price relative to the card value would also make it more appealing.

But if the cards lose value too quickly, even with a lower price, it might still discourage new players. Do you think there’s a way to balance this so that starter packs are both fair and sustainable?
