Most of the summoners that we play with are rare. When we get them up to level 6 we can pair them with level 8 commons, level 6 rares, level 5 epics and level 3 legendary monsters.
At this point in my series I've integrated cards from Rebellion with cards from Chaos Legion. I addressed those groups separately through level 4.
I think these are some of the most impactful fire monsters to start leveling up if you happen to have some level 6 rare summoners to pair them with. These upgrades will also work if you have level 3 legendary summoners, level 5 epic summoners or level 8 common summoners.
At level 6 Scavo Firebolt picks up the knockout ability.
At level 5 Forgotten One picks up the piercing ability.
At level 6 Djinn Apprentice picks up the deathblow ability.
At level 6 Torch Myrmidon picks up the shatter ability.
When picking out new cards to level up, it's important to consider whether you'll be playing in modern or wild format. All of the cards that I discussed in today's post are legal in modern. If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to a lower level if you play them with a lower level summoner.
I would love to hear what some of your favorite cards are to level up especially as I have limited experience playing cards at these levels. I'll keep pointing out the ones I can. Another great place to find them is the cards that you get beat by on the battlefield.

You know. I've never considered the possibilities of playing this type of game. Is it profitable? Or is it similar to magic the gathering where you'd trade cards to keep your deck up to date? Honestly I've been waiting to upgrade my phone, but it occurs to me that I okay a game on my phone that isn't crypto based. And I'm sitting wondering why I've never given these games a try. My excuse for now is that I'm waiting to upgrade my phone. Are your opponents random? !PIZZA !BEER
I think it has a lot of similarities with MTG. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. After I started playing Splinterlands, I ultimately sold my magic card collection (I got back about as much as I put in). With Splinterlands it's a lot quicker and easier to buy and sell cards because it's all online. It's also easy to rent cards in Splinterlands. Splinterlands is easier to play any time day or night and the time commitment for a game is small. You get matched by their algorithm to someone with a similar rating for each match. I've earned a lot of SPS and cards playing splinterlands, but I wouldn't call it profitable yet. I jumped in at the peak of the market and the Splinterlands market has a lot of room for volatility with the tokens being cryptocurrency and the cards being NFTs, but in my experience it has paid for itself and it's been a lot of fun. I do miss the social aspect of playing Friday Night Magic, but it had become pretty infrequent for me to be able to go.
