I think it is in everyone's interests for Splinterlands to survive and the good thing about this proposal is that there are some good discussions taking place. The importance of decentralisation is important and what I have liked about Splinterlands the most is the assets on Hive are much cheaper than say those of ETH.
My only concern is that this is likely to be the first of many proposals and will the game be able to get back onto a profitable footing?
I think profitability is going to depend on bull markets and whether the Splinterlands community itself is able to do what many on Hive have done, and not sell everything. Sustainability takes more than just a sell high and buyback low.
