That is where other players who can actually afford to own their cards come in. Some people play differently. We can't make the extremes as a premise for an argument.
Tho, I agree with you that win-traders should be banned, the proposal to exclude non-CP owning players from rewards only favors those who are either OG to the game or who can spend thousands of $$$ to actually own their deck.
The real solution is here is to GIT GUD. Just because someone can shell out money to buy cards doesn't mean they are only ones who deserve to win and compete.
Therefore the concept of CP. CP doesn't require card ownership, it does howevers requires cards to be in the account for the entire season, especially at the end of season when rewards are calculated. Which is the fact I am talking about. Again, Rental cards must be there at the end-of-season to qualify for the rewards.
With the price of the rental at EOS and how much DEC peeps that don't own cards to compete spend, requiring them to rent for power is a sentence that says they shouldn't compete anymore.
I think NOT getting the EOS chest rewards should be penalty enough.
CP = Hundreds of Chests
Skill = Leaderboard DEC
In my book, not a bad trade for a healthy game.
We are not reading the same book :)
Changes WILL BE implemented whether you like it or not. Otherwise it’s a drain on the game economy which we will prevent at any cost.
I hope so too. Changes presented like not revealing the name before the matches will certainly help against win trading. Investigating suspicious behaviors like multiple surrenders and accounts fielding 1 monster instead of a full team should certainly be done in an official capacity.
Now, preventing people who makes the effort to learn the necessarily skill to win from earning rewards just because they can't shell out tons of money is elitist and tyrannical.
The assets that these people win are also sold back to the market, which means they aren't lost and are still revolving around the economy.
Grinders make the effort to gain assets by investing their time so they can earn food money while whales buy it from them so they get to stack up on assets without needing to do manual labor is fair and square in my book.
You might as well remove the rental system if you don't want people to rent cards to compete.
