1. Price

These graphs show the evolution of prices in USD for HIVE and HBD.

2. Supply

This graph shows the evolution of HIVE virtual Supply. The virtual supply is the sum of HIVE supply (liquid and staked HIVE) and HBD supply (converted into HIVE).
The graph also displays the debt ratio (HBD supply / HIVE virtual supply). Keep in mind that since hardfork 24 funds in the treasury (@hive.fund HBD balance) don't count towards the HBD debt ratio.

These graphs show the evolution of the HIVE Supply (both liquid and staked) and the HBD supply.

These charts show the evolution of the liquid HIVE and the staked HIVE (Hive Power).

This graph shows the overall Hive tokens distribution.

Note: As of 2021-06-30 (HF25) interest is only paid for HBD which are stored in savings.

This chart shows the amount of interest paid each month for holding HBD and how many accounts received such interest.

This graph shows the number of HBD, both liquid and in savings, held by all accounts.

5. Conversions

Note: As a reminder, conversion requests are only finalized after 3 days. It is only then that it is known exactly how many HIVE were burned in return for the HBD received at the time of the conversion request.

This graph shows the number of HIVE collateralized due to requests to convert HIVE to HBD over the past few days.

These graphs show the number of HIVE effectively used by the conversion process (HIVE converted and 5% HIVE fee which is burned) each day and month when requests to convert HIVE to HBD have been finalized.

These graphs show the number of HBD burned, each day and each month, following requests to convert HBD to HIVE.

The account frick was hacked that's the reason he power down yesterday.
The robbers changed keys email and password and they are stealing his hive

Yeah, many get hacked recently.
Never share your private owner key or hive password!
Be careful when using your active key

Yup, I always thought the private key login was a terrible idea, even back in the STEEM days. I am so glad they have things like HIVE Signer now. I hear that there is also a HIVE hardware 2FA device now, is that right?

In any case, that is very sad, so sorry to hear of these innocent people getting robbed. Be sure to ALWAYS use encryption to store your sensitive info guys! And also hardened Firefox with things like NoScript will save you in 99% of browser based attacks. That and dont save passwords in your browser, that is the FIRST place hackers look when they hack you!

Stay safe everyone.

I hear that there is also a HIVE hardware 2FA device now, is that right?

Not really a 2FA hardware device. I'm working on a project called Hive Authentication Services that will provide similar protection.

BTW, if you want to support the related proposal, That would be much appreciated. You can vote for the proposal on Peakd, ecency, or using HiveSigner

Hive.blog / https://wallet.hive.blog/proposals

Thank you!

That is fantastic news, I went ahead and voted for it, thank you for sharing! With voting on proposals, how does it work exactly? Does it need a certain number of votes to pass? Or the higher ranked it is the higher priority it is? I just wasnt sure, as the only proposals I votes in before had a binary yes/no option, so I wasnt sure how HIVE proposals differed.

Does it need a certain number of votes to pass?

To be funded, a proposal does not need a number of votes but need that the sum of Hive Power held by its is greater than that of the "Return Proposal" (proposal #0)

The other problem is too sheer laziness. Many people jumping into crypto without learning even the most basic things. Even a good friend of mine, has been in crypto for 3 years, and he didnt even bother to do 1 hour of research to know that you NEVER use text-based 2FA for his exchange accounts. He also didnt know what a seed phrase was. And he almost fell for the scam text saying his account needs to be "verified". Almost lost all his money due to pure laziness. So I spend 20 minutes going through all, the basics with him to make sure he didnt get scammed, but many folks are just as lazy but do not have friends that have been in crypto for over a decade like me...and those people, many of them will be scammed due to their carelessness.

I am not saying the guys who got their HIVE accounts hacked were lazy just to be clear, I do not know the situation with the recent HIVE hacks, just saying in general this is often the case.

Yeah, people jump in and want to make quick money, but do not care to protect their earnings.
Unfortunately, this leads to good opportunities for scammers.

I just want to pay out a little and then stop again > 400 hive because I need to buy something for my pc to be able to cut video again.

No worries. Anyone is free to do what they want with their assets.

This update is very comprehensive in analysis.
Among the last 3 months of Powerup and powerdown, January 2022 is to me was better than the other two months. This is because for the system to grow the number of Powerup should be higher than the number of powerdown. Thanks for the update.
