RE: Time for reflections! - Initiative: Danser Encore (Eng-Esp)

France and gatherings in public spaces - irrelevant data: when we travelled through this country in 2021 and wanted to eat in one restaurant in Avignon we were kindly asked to leave it hahaha (no, no tenía el pasaporte cov.). Since I saw your post I have been searching for a photo from Narbonne, from 2023. When we walked through the city centre looking for a place to have dinner I saw a group of people in front of one small local, they were sitting and standing outside and playing music, singing, and dancing. Maybe this stayed a tradition then...? I took a photo, I am sure and a short video but can't find them anywhere. It seems I deleted them and didn't include them in the posts that I wrote about Narbonne. 🤦‍♀

Sort:

This was the case almost everywhere in Europe. With the exception of Sweden, I think also Norway and possibly some Eastern countries like Bulgaria. That's why I think these anecdotes were important, it's an opinion.

In July 2020 I uploaded to my Whatsapp status a picture of people gathered on a terrace, without masks and drinking beers and my friends were asking me where I was. That summer it took me 14 hours to get to Copenhagen, it was closed almost the whole air sky, from Vienna I almost didn't get out. And when I went on to Sweden... there was no pandemic... anyway... I don't know what else to say.

The truth is that I would like those videos of Narbona to appear.

And thank you very much for the visit @mipiano, and very good night.

Those were some strange times ;D

Have a good rest, good night.

Thank you very much, good night and happy Sunday @mipiano.

It really was a dark and unnecessary time...
