RE: The World's First Gold & Silver Banknotes: Sir Francis Drake and the Golden Hind

What fortunate luck for Sir Francis Drake in capturing The Concepción proving to be his greatest achievement next to be the first to circumnavigate the world. What he bought back to England with the wealth that boggled the mind, equivalent to England's entire GDP. That wealth went a long way to develop England's Naval power.
Always, with love 🤗🌺❤️

I wonder if the world would be the same had the Europeans, specifically the British, Spain, and Portugal, NOT gotten the gold of Africa, South America, the Pacific, and Asia; if those treasures were not plundered.
The half penny shows the numismatic in you! I have very few old coins that are not silver.
Much !LUV sis!

The world could be a very much different. Development always follows capital flow and perhaps the world's concentration of wealth could have been much more decentralized than what we have today.
