A Daily Dose: All the hate in the world!

With everything there is in the world, I don't know where to begin. It's too heavy to even think about it. How did we all end up this way? We've made our lives and other people difficult to understand. We've made barriers and separated ourselves from one another. We thought everybody the act of hate.

Are we supposed to learn it? What are the reasons why? Couldn't we forget about it and create a world without it? They say, "Nothing is impossible," but why can't we do it? Some might agree but would oppose the idea. Can't we fix all these?

I can't imagine a world where people living in it know nothing but hate. It would be such a cruel world. And I believe no one would want to be born in that world. If only there is a way to remove all the hate in the world, maybe no one would cry out of depression. No one would have to suffer and feel inferior to others.

I think some people cry and feel weak because of the pressure from the people around them. These people need compassion more than criticism. It wouldn't cost you your life to give your understanding to someone who is struggling. It would only take a moment, but it could mean the world to them.

Why can't others do a simple thing for other people? Is it how the world works? Does somebody have to be sad to let somebody be happy? I'm pretty sure that those who suffer have a lot to ask. Just like me, I want to know the answers.

As I'm asking all these, I haven't thought of any way to free this world from hate. It existed before me, and it made stories more than that of what I know. Countless generations have passed, and yet it remained and continues to affect many. I don't think the world needs it.

On second thought, maybe it's foolish to change the world. It would probably be best to start from ourselves. Will that be possible? Someone has to show so that someone would come to know. Then maybe there could be more people who would feel happy and free. I hope to see the world like that one day.

"Hate. It has caused a lot of problems in this world, but it has not solved one yet." - Maya Angelou

What if hate never existed and changed people's outlook in life? Do you think the world needs it? How should we lessen the hatred in the world?

This is the point of my Behind the words: Soulstore post.

I'm enjoying your company, would you want to become a moderator for the community? Of course, you know that it would come with responsibilities - and that means helping the community grow.

I may accept the offer. It depends. What are the requirements, and what are the above mentioned responsibilities?

As of now there are no definite requirements and responsibility. But I can mention some general ideas that comes to mind. Some moderator's duty:

  • to monitor the community in order to prevent malicious or unrelated content
  • to drive and encourage user engagement within the community

...there are others that I think a moderator can do but these will be utilized for the future growth of the community like pinning top selected articles of the week, recommending potential moderators, initiating contest (maybe) and etc... Of course that would include participation on talks on how the community can continue on growing..

... there's a lot but there's no rush.

I like helping to build and maintain the community, so I accept the offered moderator role. I hope that both this community and the whole Hive blockchain will be successful.

I've already made you a Moderator - country representative for Hungary.

There should not be any hate in the world.
Without hate in the world, I would not be who I am now.
I received a lot of hate and bullying during my childhood.
I forgive everyone. I hope that others are forgive me too.
All the bad things made me somewhat also bad, and I also did bad things in life. I am not proud of this. I am just/only honest. It is good to keep in mind that there is good in everyone. Literally everyone. Even in the most cruel people. Look for the good in people.

Spread love and not hate.

We always say this phrase, and a lot of people do. And I do admit that I think not everyone who said that meant it. All of us are entitled and have the freedom to choose what we want and who wanted to be. And that goes to say we know that different consequences come along.

Regarding the hate and bullying you've received, I hope it strengthened you more than weakening the confidence and courage you have. We can always choose to be rightful and have that positive outlook in life.

I like these kinds of interactions because not only do I get to read other experiences from people, I tend to utter words that I never knew I could. I, too, have suffered and am struggling personally but being able to do something like this makes me feel strong enough to give advice to others.
