Rabbit is so delicious. I have a friend that used to raise rabbits and chickens for food. My other friend was getting married and the both of us were in the wedding. For his bachelor party he wanted to go camping. We took our trailers to one of the state parks and just hung out for the weekend together. Anyway, the guy who raised rabbits and chickens brought some and cooked it over the fire in his dutch oven. It was amazing. Probably one of the best campfire meals I have ever had.
Yeah, I'm not surprised to read this and have heard a few others say so. It's really a legitimate meal option although seems is losing favour these days. Back in the day it was a table food here, and I think probabky in many other countries as well. For our big chain-supermarkets to stock it still speaks of it's popularity even now.
That's more than we have. You won't find it in the stores here. You have to know the right people. I've been to a couple wild game dinners and those are usually a lot of fun. Lots of good food and gun raffles!
Wild game is pretty available here, and foods from other countries as well, we're pretty spoilt for choice really. 😀
