RE: hive post downloader version 1 release - 100% of hive users can use this tool

in HiveDevs3 years ago

Greetings, @blokz,

I just discovered your spectacular "Hive Post Downloader" tool a few days ago, and I'm here to say that it absolutely rocks! I came across it via the Hive "Welcome" Page that links to https://hiveprojects.io/ ...

I have of course already used it to archive my account, as well as a friend's. In the case of the friend, I simply wanted to inspect the source code of a particular post in order to see "how she did" a video embed. Your swell utility runs fast and furious, and does a fantastic job.

It took me a few more days to discover who/where you were/are... and now I'm here to say a big "Thank You Very Much" for this very cool tool. Thank you! Also to confirm: If I understand the connection correctly, you also are @sn0n, and @blokz is your dev account?

I have some fantasy aspirations of learning how to do some Hive coding, and (if I ever get a "round tuit") your code archive on Github will be the first place I look. I have for a long time wanted to write some code to facilitate my Library project... but I've been just too busy with too many other things.

In any case, friend, you rock, your code rocks, and I'm here to tell you how much I appreciate you. THANK YOU!
😄😇😉

Glad you got good use out of the project. And yea, @sn0n is the guy, and @blokz is the "entity" for holding my projects.

Also, my code is full of spaghetti and formatting is gross. LoL. Definitely follow @rishi556 for the good stuff. ^>^

Hey there, @sn0n,

As a lifelong coder, I "get" your knee-jerk reaction... yah, there's always room for improvement and prettying things up... but hey, in my not so humble opinion, the primary beauty of code is in the function. You've produced something beautiful here, so thank you again. And if I ever do get time to do some hacking, I'll also check out @rishi556; thanks for the reference!
