I can't believe that :D In Bulgaria almost every household has a Zenit of a Fed somewhere hidden alongside the rest of antiques they don't feel like throwing away. I started shooting film with my mother's Zenit ET That my grandfather had given to her. Also there are tons of compacts here in every flee market. I think the hard part is developing your film. Black and white is kinda easy at home but color film is super demanding and requires some investment in a processing machine and free space at home. Are there places that still process and scan film around your home? I live in Sofia and luckily there are many places here but smaller towns dont have such service.

It’s not that I don’t have a film camera. I have both a FED and a Zenith, and even Chenon with a zoom lens.
Apparently I'm too impatient. Having shot something on a digital camera, I can immediately begin processing. This is important and interesting. Using a film doesn’t work out that way. I live in St. Petersburg and there are many laboratories. But I'm not ready to deal with film yet. Maybe in the future :-)
