RE: My DVS strategy

in FreeComplimentslast year

Thanks for sharing your DVS strategy!
I bought an initial amount of DVS at the price of 1hive, afterwards it climbed and than the exploit happened. At first, I thought I lost a couple of 100's hive. Ofcourse not nice, but nothing which I couldn't deal with.
I decided to go for it and up my stake when it got dumped.
Now I have 1000DVS, which I'll hold on to but at the moment I'm not looking to buy more.
As you say:

Diversification is a good thing.

So I'll just HODL and enjoy the votes in the meantime! :D

Same boat here. I paid more than 1 hive for my dvs, then the big dump happened and I bought a ton super cheap(split between a couple accounts)

For DVS and other similar tokens I don't really pay attention to the price, but I do pay attention to the value. With these tokens if the price drops and you've been getting value for the tokens regularly you can still be ahead in terms of what you spent for the tokens and the profits you have received even if the price of the token tanks. My opinion anyway.

I agree with you!
Need to take the whole picture in account, the value of the token is one thing, but it's the total of value of the token + distributed rewards (+ risk) :D
