I decided to try this high graphic survival game I stubled upon, unfortunately it's early access demo only but still had quite a lot of fun playing it. I like these kind of games ever since @strawhat introduced me to Vampire Survivors so seeing them evolve over time to something in quality of the likes of Diablo 4 is quite impressive.
I played the easy and normal version and they were quite a breeze, but when it came to the hard difficulty this required me quite a few attempts. :D
Here they are, skip to the last video if you wanna see the (what I thought was the ending, but turns out I must've missed an objective so maybe not but am too tired to give it any more attempts today xD).
Do these games interest you?
I mainly played the "barbarian" and used up all the gold I collected to level up the existing talents/skills called virtues. Haven't tested the other classes much yet but might do so later on or just wait for the full game to be released!
I'm surprised my PC didn't start overheating at the end there with so much happening on-screen!
I like these swarm games, or whatever they call it these days. I remember playing Gun Bros back in the day. The addition of powerups as you play definitely keeps things fresh, and you can try different strategies each run. The graphics look good, and I bet it would have looked awesome in your screen. Unfortunately the ultrawide doesn't seem to translate well into YT with a regular screen, since it only takes up 1/3 of mine even at full screen.
I can imagine how intense it must have been on hard difficulty, with your PC just holding on.
Your barbarian looks like a tiny Kratos there and Jotunnslayer already reminded me of a location of God of War that's probably called Jotunheim. I'm glad to know that your PC is trying to do better.
Not too shabby for a demo. Looks like it should add up to a rather solid game if it has good balance and mechanics in it. Battle also looks rather smooth.
These types of games just stress the hell out of me xD. Even just watching your vids had me stressing!
The game looks great, I'm surprised your pc will hold up to the game, I can only imagine what it will be like when the full game comes out.
Vampire Survivors was a classic, I played wayyy too many hours of that.

This reminds me of the old Gauntlet style games. Just much better graphics like you said. I was playing some old school Berzerk this past weekend. That's like the OG survival game!

I guess this type of gaming is for real hard-core gamers, not my type of a game.
Strawhat always have the scariest games, gives me goosebumbs each time i read his play, this game seems interesting though
