A few weeks ago I brought my first content about EuroTruck Simulator to the community, at that time I explained many things about my experience and all the impressions I had, my idea was to continue with my adventure and share my progress. A couple of days ago I started to investigate to see how I could integrate music to the internal player of the game and in the process I ended up damaging some essential files of the game, when I ran it to play it simply did not open, so I had to uninstall the game from the root and added to this I lost all the progress.
I felt a bit bad about that, but at the same time I didn't see it so crazy to start again, now I can share with you everything from the beginning, from the purchase of the truck to the country I chose as headquarters. And also with all this the fact that despite the errors, I could finally integrate some music to the internal player of the game.
Hace unas semanas atrás traje mi primer contenido sobre EuroTruck Simulator a la comunidad, para aquel momento expliqué muchas cosas sobre mi experiencia y todas las impresiones que tuve, mi idea era seguir con mi aventura e ir compartiendo mi progreso. Hace un par de días atrás me puse a indagar para ver como podía integrar músicas al reproductor interno del juego y en el proceso termine dañando unos archivos esenciales del juego, al ejecutarlo para jugar simplemente no abría, así que tuve que desinstalar el juego de raíz y sumado a esto perdí todo el progreso.
Me sentí un poco mal por eso, pero al mismo tiempo no vi tan descabellado empezar de nuevo, ahora puedo compartirles todo desde el principio, desde la compra del camión hasta el País que escogí como sede. Y también con todo esto el hecho que a pesar de los errores, pude al final poder integrar algunas músicas al reproductor interno del juego.
For this new adventure I wanted to start by being a little more cautious when it comes to buying the truck, the game by default makes available 100,000 Euros to make the purchase of the first truck, in the dealership there are several trucks that can be displayed but only 4 of them fit in the budget that we have available. This time I chose one of the brand “Swift C Class”, which has a 9-speed transmission, a V6 engine of 470 horsepower and a fuel tank of 650 liters.
Para esta nueva aventura quise iniciar siendo un poco más cauteloso a la hora de hacer la compra del camión, el juego por defecto pone a disposición 100.000 Euros para hacer la compra del primer camión, en el concesionario hay varios camiones que se pueden visualizar pero solo 4 de ellos entran en el presupuesto que tenemos a disposición. Esta vez escogí uno de la marca "Swift C Class", el cual tiene una transmisión de 9 velocidades, un motor V6 de 470 Caballos de Fuerza y tanque de combustible de 650 Litros.
For the initial country I have selected “Spain”, I chose it more for something passionate, I have always wanted to go to Spain and visit Madrid, it is a dream I have always had since I was a child.
Para el país inicial he seleccionado "España", lo escogí más por algo pasional, siempre he querido ir a España y visitar Madrid, es un sueño que siempre he tenido desde que era niño.
At the beginning of the game there is a brief tutorial that instructs you about all the functional keys in the game. I took advantage of this first part to step on the accelerator of my new truck and I must say that I have been very satisfied, it is much better than the previous one I had.
Al empezar aparece el breve tutorial que te instruye sobre todas las teclas funcionales en el juego. Aproveche esta primera parte para pisar fuerte el acelerador de mi nuevo camión y debo decir que he quedado muy satisfecho, es mucho mejor que el anterior que tenía.
For this first assignment I chose to carry a load of wood to Lisbon (Portugal), I ended up choosing it because it was the best paying among the others, with the experience I already had I took it quite calmly and started my first trip in this new adventure.
Para este primer encargo escogí llevar una carga de madera hasta Lisboa (Portugal), lo termine escogiendo por era el que mejor pagaba entre los demás, con la experiencia que ya tenía me lo tome con bastante calma y emprendí mi primer viaje en esta nueva aventura.
The journey to Lisbon was quite quiet with a fairly regular traffic, something I really like is that on the road you can see many signs indicating the route, this makes us always be alert without getting bored on the road. The mini map lacks a continuous guide while we are on the road, the fact that there are many warnings on the road is very positive for this aspect of the game.
El trayecto a Lisboa fue bastante tranquilo con un trafico bastante regular, algo que me gusta mucho es que en la vía se pueden apreciar muchas avisos que indican la ruta, esto hace que siempre estemos alertas sin aburrirnos en el camino. El mini mapa carece de una guía continua mientras vamos en carretera, el hecho de que haya bastante avisos en la vía es muy positivo para este aspecto del juego.
Something that I really like is to admire the beautiful views that appear as I go along the road. Although the game is not demanding in terms of graphics, you can still appreciate very nice views.
algo que me gusta mucho es admirar las hermosas vistas que van apareciendo a medida que voy avanzando en la carretera. A pesar de que el juego no es demandante en cuanto a gráficos, aun así se pueden apreciar muy bonitas vistas.
The destination company for the delivery of the load of wood was “Euroacres”, when I arrived I got a rather modest place, by the sounds I got to hear when entering the company, I guess it has to do with sales of cattle, chickens, among other things. I am sure that at some point I will return here to bring another order in the not too distant future.
La empresa destino para la entrega de la carga de madera era "Euroacres", al llegar me conseguí con un sitio bastante modesto, por los sonidos que llegue a escuchar al entrar a la empresa, supongo que tiene que ver con ventas de Ganado, Pollos, entre otras cosas. Estoy seguro que en algún momento volveré aquí a traer otra encargo en un futuro no muy lejano.
After squaring up the trailer and parking it acceptably, I completed the delivery of the wood shipment. And that was how I officially received my first payment on my new adventure.
Después de cuadrar bien el remolque y estacionarlo de forma aceptable complete la entrega del cargamento de madera. Y así fue como oficialmente recibí mi primer pago en mi nueva aventura.
In Lisbon everything was ready, but now I had to rest a little in the game, I have enabled the driver's fatigue to make the game a little more realistic, although what I don't like, is that the fatigue usually appears very soon, but in the same way, just as you see many signs of directions on the road, you can also see many gas stations and in them parking to park and to be able to rest.
En Lisboa ya estaba todo listo, pero ahora tenía que descansar un poco en el juego, he dejado habilitado el cansancio del conductor para hacer que el juego sea un poco más realista, aunque lo que no me gusta, es que el cansancio suele aparecer muy pronto, pero de igual modo, así como se ven muchos avisos de direcciones en la vía, también se pueden ver muchas estaciones de gasolinas y en ellas estacionamiento para aparcar y poder descansar.
After the rest I would undertake a new route from the company “POSPED”, for this assignment I wanted it to be a little longer, with a more delicate and better paid load.
Después del descanso emprendería una nueva ruta desde la empresa "POSPED", para este encargo quería que fuera un poco más largo, con una carga más delicada y mejor pagada.
In the job offers in this company there were many, both for Barcelona and Madrid, but those in Barcelona had much better pay for the distance, so I looked at this offer. There was an offer of a little more than 14 thousand euros, but it was to transport gasoline and for this I need a permit, to acquire it I have to make a payment of 25 thousand euros, it is a money that right now I do not have in the game, but the most sure thing is when I have enough money I will enable this permit to transport gasoline and make my capital grow faster.
In the end I ended up choosing a load of Electronics to deliver to the company “SellPlan”, despite not having been able to opt for the best paying load, it was not bad and for the delivery I would earn a little more than 8 thousand euros.
En las ofertas de trabajo en esta empresa había muchas, tanto para Barcelona como para Madrid, pero las de Barcelona tenían mucho mejor paga por la distancia, así que me fije en esta ofertas. Había una oferta de un poco más de 14 mil euros, pero era para transportar Gasolina y para esto necesito un permiso, para poder adquirirlo tengo que hacer un pago de 25 mil euros, es un dinero que ahora mismo no tengo en el juego, pero lo más seguro es cuando tengo el dinero suficiente habilitaré este permiso para transportar gasolina y hacer que mi capital crezca más rápidamente.
Al final termine escogiendo una carga de Electrónica para entregar en la empresa "SellPlan", a pesar de no haber podido optar por la carga de mejor paga, está no estaba mal y por la entrega ganaría un poco más de 8 mil euros.
Once I accepted the offer I got down to work and went to look for the load to hook it to my trailer and thus begin this new journey.
Una vez acepte la oferte me puse manos a la obra y me fui a buscar la carga para engancharla a mi remolque y así dar inicio a este nuevo viaje.
Something that I like a lot in EuroTruck is to make trips at night, everything looks great when and it is very pleasant. This trip from Lisbon to Barcelona I enjoyed it a lot, the traffic was at a high point which made me go very pending, I could see many other trucks with loads from other companies, this makes me see that there are other companies that so far are hidden to me, maybe as I advance I will discover them. In spite of the traffic it was quite calm, and I even had to make a stop to refuel.
Algo que me gusta mucho en EuroTruck es hacer viajes de noche, todo se ve genial cuando y es muy agradable. Este viaje de Lisboa a Barcelona lo disfrute mucho, el trafico estuvo en un punto alto lo que me hacía ir muy pendiente, pude ver muchos otros camiones con cargas de otras empresas, esto me hace ver que existen otras empresas que hasta ahora son ocultas para mi, tal vez a medida que avance las vaya descubriendo. A pesar del trafico fue bastante tranquilo, e incluso tuve que hacer una parada para abastecerme de gasolina.
There came a time when I felt that the trip was taking forever, I realized that the route from Lisbon to Barcelona is quite long, this is something that I will also take into account for future jobs, so I always apply the best paid offer to get the best out of this route that is so long.
Llego un momento donde sentí que el viaje se estaba haciendo eterno, me di cuenta que la ruta de Lisboa a Barcelona es bastante larga, esto es algo que también tomaré en cuenta para los futuros trabajos, así aplico siempre la oferta mejor pagada para sacarle el mejor provecho a esta ruta que es tan larga.
When I arrived to Barcelona I felt quite satisfied, it is true that the route was very long but I had a great time in spite of everything, there was a view of a lake that I liked a lot, I wish the game had the panoramic view option, surely with this I could get better images.
Al llegar a Barcelona me sentí bastante satisfecho, es verdad que la ruta fue muy larga pero me la pase muy genial a pesar de todo, hubo una vista a un lago que me gusto mucho, ojala y el juego tuviera la opción de vista panorámica, seguramente con esto pudiera sacar unas mejores imágenes.
Another great thing that happened to me arriving to Barcelona, was that it was falling the night and it also started to rain, this aspect of the game I like a lot, at least I feel it exciting.
Otra de las geniales que me paso llegando a Barcelona, fue que, estaba cayendo la noche y también empezó a llover, este aspecto del juego me gusta mucho, por lo menos yo lo siento emocionante.
Once I arrived at the company “SellPlan”, I set out to park the trailer. Although it is quite a challenge, I feel that I am already skilled enough to accurately execute the parking spaces for the loads, of course I still do not know how the spaces will be in the companies that are in the other countries that I have not yet gone.
Una vez que llegue a la empresa "SellPlan", me dispuse a estacionar el remolque. A pesar de que es todo un reto, siento que ya soy lo bastante diestro para ejecutar de forma precisa los estacionamientos para las cargas, claro esta que aun no se como serán los espacios en las empresas que están en los demás países a los que aún no he ido.
After leaving the load parked correctly, I only have to wait for my pay, another good amount that adds to my capital. I will be looking for that license to transport gasoline, I don't know how long it will take me, but I will achieve it and I will surely be sharing it with all of you in an upcoming content.
Después de dejar la carga estacionada correctamente solo me quedo por esperar mi paga, otra buena cantidad que se suma a mi capital. Estaré en busca de esa licencia para transportar gasolina, no se que tiempo me lleve, pero lo lograré y seguramente lo estaré compartiendo con todos ustedes en un próximo contenido.

Losing progress is tough man but at least you weren't too far into the story and now you have some experience with the game so you can have a better start. So maybe it was a blessing in disguise? xD
Steam should be saving your game in cloud if I am not mistaken. Maybe it doesn't work with every game?
