Losing progress is tough man but at least you weren't too far into the story and now you have some experience with the game so you can have a better start. So maybe it was a blessing in disguise? xD
Now that you ask me, I'd say yes hahaha, on the previous account I made some mistakes and spent money in vain on truck upgrades when I should have more focused on licenses to be able to enter other countries or acquire better paying shipments. That said, it was good to start over xD.
Steam should be saving your game in cloud if I am not mistaken. Maybe it doesn't work with every game?
I really don't know, I didn't know there was such a cloud on Steam to save games. But I guess in EuroTruck this doesn't work, when I reinstalled that I logged into the game, everything was from scratch.
