Witcher 4 reveal trailer was released a few days ago. And I am very excited about this game since Witcher games are my all time favorite(Witcher 3 Is literaly a perfect game for me), I also love Witcher books. They are my favorite fantasy books along with Berserk and Song of Ice and Fire. Not all people are as happy about this news as me. Some don't like that Ciri is new main character. Others are complaining that she is less beautiful or that she should die from drinking Witcher potions. I disagree with those complaints. Ciri was one of the main characters in the books and in Witcher 3. She was perhaps even more important to the story of books than Geralt. She is Geralt's and Yen's adopted daughter. So she seems like a natural and perfect choice to carry on Geralt's legacy as the witcher. You may say that women can't survive the trial of the grasses and become a witcher. But Ciri was always special due to her genes and being decendant of Lara Dorren. As a child she was already able to drink witcher potions without dying. So I believe that Ciri surviving the trial and becoming a witcher makes perfect sense. It was clear that Geralt will not be main character in Witcher 4 so his adopted daughter caring the torch as new main character seems more logical than creating some random new character. I want to interact with characters I know from books and games not with a new cast of characters. My Geralt is retired with Yen and living happily in the vineyard. But Ciri is just beginning to walk in the Path. So her being main character allows to meets other my beloved characters again. I just hope that creators will not kill Geralt and Yen. Geralt deserves to be a first witcher to die peacefully in his own bed. As for complain that Ciri looks uglier I think that her looks are more realistic considering that Ciri: 1. is older. 2. She passed the trial of the grasses and 3. She is a witcher now so her life is harder and harsher.
I dislike the whole dei/ woke thing but in this case a strong female protagonist makes perfect sense and I think that people are just overreacting and hating for no reason/ because they want to hate. I myself have great hopes for this Witcher 4 and I am sure that creators will once again deliver a great game/masterpiece. Perhaps I am too optimistic but it better than being negative about everything.
Nice, I have never played that video game, however, I really like Age of Empires, I was reading that that game also released a new version I mean Age of Empires.

Though I don't watch sorcery movies I think The Witcher movie has a fantastic storyline. I didn't know you read the A Song Of Ice And Fire which transmuted to Game Of Thrones. Thanks for the review.
