This is a logic video game created by Finnish indie developer Arvi Teikari. It was released in 2019 for Windows PC, Linux, macOS and Nintendo Switch. In 2021, iOS and Android versions were released.

vIn ‘Baba Is You’, players control a lovable character named Baba, whose mission is to modify the rules of the game by manipulating blocks of text on the stage.

To advance through the levels, players must rearrange the words on the screen to change the rules of the game.
For example, if the text says ‘Baba Is You’, it means you control Baba, but if you change the words to say ‘Rock Is You’, then you control a rock instead!
There are three types of rule boxes, those that describe an element, such as ‘rock’, ‘wall’ or ‘Baba’, respectively); those that describe an operator, such as ‘is’ and ‘and’; and those that describe a property, such as ‘push’, ‘stop’ or ‘open’

Baba Is You won Best Game at the 2017 Nordic Game Jam and won two awards at the 2018 IGF Awards: one for Best Student Game and one for Excellence in Design.
