Luigi's Mansion is an action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo for the GameCube console in 2001.
It is a spin-off of the popular Super Mario Bros video game series, starring Luigi, Mario's younger brother.
The premise of the game is that Luigi wins a mansion in a dubious competition from a mysterious company. When he arrives to claim his prize, he discovers that the mansion is plagued by ghosts.
With the help of a device called Poltergust 3000, a powerful vacuum cleaner, Luigi must explore the mansion, capture the ghosts and rescue his brother Mario, who has mysteriously disappeared.

The game is also notable for its clever puzzles and the need to meticulously explore every nook and cranny of the mansion.
Despite being a relatively short game, Luigi's Mansion captivated Mario fans with its original premise, funny moments and the opportunity to see Luigi as the main character.
It became a cult hit on GameCube and spawned sequels such as Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for Nintendo 3DS and Switch released in 2013 and Luigi's Mansion 3, which came out in 2019 for Nintendo Switch.
I think it's a horror game. But I don't know what kind of game it is, I've never played it...
