The tremendous success of this game has led to the release of two sequels (plus two expansions for each version).
After years of waiting, two more new versions have been released, namely RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D (available for Nintendo 3DS only) and RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile (available for free with in-app purchases for iOS and Android).
RollerCoaster Tycoon® 3 has also been released for iOS, being a faithful copy of its PC version, without any cuts to its content.
RollerCoaster Tycoon World, the latest game in the series, was released in 2016. The game interface is similar to Transport Tycoon, also by Chris Sawyer.
Such games brings back so many memories. I had no idea it was influenced by Transport Tycoon. It’s a must play for fans of business strategy and simulation games.
I was very addicted to this type of games and at that time they were a challenge, I remember one where one filmed movies but not the name of it.
I see. I was not so fan of this type but yeah I know there were craze for these ones.
