Sports games in the world of video games have been well received, but for some reason several of the disciplines (such as Tennis) are very undervalued in this area.
Personally I think and believe that Top Spin was a very good game that did not have or did not achieve the focus it was supposed to reach, its sequels were also quite good and even each of them greatly improved its predecessors. But I feel and believe that they were at the point of undervaluation, maybe it was because of the discipline (Tennis), what is true is that for all those who got to play it, we know that it is a very entertaining game to pass the time.
Certainly both tennis and golf are not sports that have brought as many players to consoles as Basketball or soccer
This came out when I was horribly addicted to Sega's Virtua Tennis on Dreamcast. I wanted to get this but I had not yet gotten an Xbox so I had to pass on it. It looked amazing and the few people I knew around this time that had an Xbox and Top Spin said it was definitely a good game.
He has been one of the best in history, without a doubt.
