Not many, like 40-50, with actually hunting like 5-7 times, My father was the hunter, he took us in too many empty hands hunts, it is hard to hunt certain animals, specially when one of our scores was a bloody venezolain puma, smaller and way more aggressive that I would like to admit.

Oh, wow! How cool... 40-50 is still a lot. You must have some interesting stories to share.

If you are in a forest, DONT WAIT FOR THE NIGHT TO FALL BEFORE LEAVING, that is the best I can give you in less than 500 words. If the son is going down at 6pm, leave at 4. Once we got loss, and dad had to literally shot a handgun every 20-30 mins, for about 3 hours before a friend of his, found us. That was one of our final hunts, then he passed to his other big love, fishing, and to be honest I got hook on fishing a lot more than hunting, the forest of venezuela is quite vibrant, you can feel it breathing and living, you feel like there will always be a bigger fish than you, something that could potentially kill you, I mean, in here (But on the amazonian border of venezuela, like 350 kilometers away from me) we have spiders that hunt and eat birds, nothing on these forests is "normal".

Once we saw and a babilla, in the middle of the forest, no particular reason for it, it was just off, odd and weird. Babilla are small crocodile creatures, usually spotted on the lake maracaibo or close rivers, not in the middle of a fucking forest. We dint hunt it, dad believed it would be dangerous.

Most of the time we spotted weird things happening, but nothing supernatural or whatever :P

Damm! Spiders eating birds and babilla (weird name, lol) in the middle of a fucking jungle sounds scary man.

From hunting to fishing, seems like your dad had an interesting life. Thanks for sharing that... loved this convo.

The old man? He was a bloody spy at one point of his live, so I will just say that see him as a small bussiness owner is good, he had a rough life.

Weird name it is, because it has something to do on how they can live on small patches of water, like it is some kind of "baba" or salivate, and its so odd because amphibians usually like bigger patches of water, in exchange they wont grow as large as the amazonian ones, and they eat serpents, so its a win win xD
