You make a good point about not making the world to big but at a decent size and alive. I feel a lot of games get praised for having a huge open world these days when really the world just feels empty. A smaller but far more interesting and living open world would definitely be better. Basically what I was hoping Cyberpunk would du but can still do if they fix it properly.

Exactly, I choose substance over style. I've had that emptiness problem with a couple of games before, and it's like, ok... This world is huge, I can go basically anywhere, but what's the point if there isn't anything to do in those places? Just sightviewing? I would dare to say that a not-so big world filled with life is harder to make than a huge empty world.
It's still not an easy task to add life to a small world like you mention. There's a lot of factors at play here.
Good point, but wouldn't bigger and more alive be better? I think the developers are targeting this.
Absolutely! But if I had to choose between a huge empty world and a smaller alive one the choice falls on the smaller one. That was what I was trying to say.
yes, I got you, in fact I am seeing it in AC, in the odyssey it was very vast, and now in the valhalla it is smaller and more alive.
