I greet you and wish you the best possible situation in which you find yourself. Once again we share a DLC of one of my games that I love and hate in equal parts.
The Batman Origins DLC, called Cold Heart, in which we are presented with the story of Mr. Cold, one of the emblematic villains of the saga. This expansion of the base game, came to circulate since April 22, 2014. Its duration is quite short, in about two hours we can complete it.
I love the Batman series very much, the combat system remains almost unchanged, it's a lot of fun. The camera, on the other hand, can be impractical in this installment, some enemy that, you do not see, will hit you before you can notice the presence of him, failing the combat sequence.
This installment extends the fun of the game a bit, with the story of Mr. Cold and his unconditional love for his wife, whom he kept in a cryogenic chamber and whom he desperately seeks to save from his illness.
It is the struggle of a man who lost everything to ruthless fate and is willing to do anything to get back what he has loved. Even when it doesn't seem like it, because we are leaving unconscious everything that has the misfortune of putting itself within our reach and beyond, deep down it is a story of love and challenge to destiny. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Cold, as a character, and to some extent I can empathize with him.
The graphics are not the best of all the installments, but they are good, in particular I really like walking through the game scenarios and I end up with lots of screenshots.
Despite the fun of the game, I have to admit first of all some more shortcomings of this installment:
We can only access two districts of the game, it is a very small area of the base game. The roofs can often be plagued by armed enemies and snipers, in some moments with the detective vision, all the subjects where you look will look like knights of the zodiac, all golden.
We don't have access to the skill tree, you can't check the sequences of movements, if you have time without playing, you may forget some combat sequences, as was the case with me.
From the outset we will have all the devices of the base game, but experience is not gained by carrying out missions, nor by confrontations.
You will not have access to fast travel, nor to Batman's lair, after the start of the game.
At times the game will violate its own mechanics, to make it more difficult to perform an area you are in, such as closing the elimination window, greatly reducing the distance of the claw hook and in some cases even preventing you from using it, or limit yourself to only one type of attack being effective in only one way of executing and in only one position.
Some enemies, just when you're getting close to do a solo takedown, walk en masse towards you, like in Crysis 2, when you're invisible or behind a wall, all the enemies would come to the side you're on.
It's something I usually call artificial difficulty, which is used to try to lengthen the duration and increase the difficulty of events. It's a pretty annoying practice of some games.
But the biggest difficulty that can be presented to you are the Bugs, if in capital letters, particularly I had to start the game about five times, due to a door that was blocked in the fire of the mansion at the beginning of the game and there was no way to continue.
I entered rooms where there was only an eternal fall. Or you couldn't kill an enemy, it was inside a beam and you couldn't complete the event without taking down every last contender.
Those responsible for the game, at some point, declared that they would not correct the bugs, to dedicate themselves fully to the DLC. And yes, as it is, today we see such a short DLC as a result of their efforts and without many additions, which was a reason to leave the main installment full of errors.
It is a very bad habit to release unpolished games, full of flaws, as happened with the Arkham Knight, which was even withdrawn from the market for a while, being unplayable. But of course they did charge for it as a full premium game.
With all its faults and virtues exposed, I have to admit that I like to play it (when I don't have to restart it five times from the beginning), and it can be a good time, despite being short and despite the fact that we easily notice when the game He tricks us to make life more difficult for us.
It is my personal experience, I like the game, despite having more bugs than the previous ones. But I have to recognize and show not only what I like, but also what I don't like about the game.
If you decide to buy it, expect a good offer and now that you know the weak points, I hope it doesn't affect you too much.

Les saludo y les deseo que estén lo mejor posible en la situación en que se encuentren. Una vez más le compartimos un DLC de uno de mis juegos que amo y odio en partes iguales.
El DLC del Batman Origins, llamado Cold Heart, en el que se nos presenta la historia del Señor Frío, uno de los villanos emblemáticos de la saga. Esta expansión del juego base, llego a circular desde el 22 de abril del año 2014. Su duración es bastante corta, en unas dos horas podemos completarlo.
Amo mucho la serie de Batman, el sistema de combate se mantiene casi sin cambios, es muy divertido. La cámara, por otra parte, puede ser poco práctica en esta entrega, algún enemigo que, no ves, te atinara algún golpe antes de que puedas notar su presencia, fallando la secuencia de combate.
Esta entrega nos alarga un poco la diversión del juego, con la historia del Señor Frío y su incondicional amor por su esposa, a quien conservo en una cámara criogénica y a quien desesperadamente busca salvar de su enfermedad.
Es la lucha de un hombre que perdió todo ante el despiadado destino y está dispuesto a cualquier cosa con tal de recuperar lo que ha amado. Aun cuando no lo parece, porque andamos dejando inconsciente a todo lo que tenga el infortunio de ponerse a nuestro alcance y más allá, en el fondo es una historia de amor y de reto al destino. Respeto mucho al Señor Frío, como personaje, y hasta cierto punto puedo sentir empatía con él.
Los gráficos no son los mejores de todas las entregas, pero están bien, en lo particular me gusta mucho pasear por los escenarios de los juegos y termino con montones de capturas.
A pesar de lo divertido del juego, tengo que reconocer antes que nada algunas carencias más de esta entrega:
Solo podemos acceder a dos distritos del juego, es una zona muy pequeña del juego base. Los techos pueden estar muchas veces plagados de enemigos armados y francotiradores, en algunos momentos con la visión de detective, todos los sujetos hacia donde veas parecerán caballeros del zodiaco, todos dorados.
No tenemos acceso al árbol de habilidades, no se puede consultar las secuencias de movimientos, si tienes tiempo sin jugar, puede que olvides algunas secuencias de combate, como fue mi caso.
De entrada tendremos todos los dispositivos del juego base, pero no se gana experiencia por realizar misiones, ni por enfrentamientos.
No tendrás acceso al viaje rápido, ni a la guarida de Batman, una vez pasado el inicio del juego.
Por momentos el juego, violará sus propias mecánicas, para hacerte más difícil realizar una zona en que estés, como cerrar la ventana de eliminaciones, reducir en mucho la distancia del gancho de la garra y en algunos casos hasta impedirte que lo puedas usar, o limitarte a que solo un tipo ataque sea efectivo de una sola manera de ejecutar y en una sola posición.
Algunos enemigos, justo cuando te estás acercando para hacer una eliminación solitaria, caminan en masa hacia ti, como en Crysis 2, que estando invisible o tras una pared, todos los enemigos se acercaban al lado donde estés.
Es algo que suelo llamar dificultad artificial, que se usa para intentar alargar la duración y aumentar la dificultad de los eventos. Es una práctica bastante molesta de algunos juegos.
Pero la mayor dificultad que se te puede presentar son los Bugs, si con mayúsculas, particularmente tuve que iniciar la partida unas cinco veces, por una puerta que se bloqueaba en el incendio de la mansión al inicio del juego y no había manera de seguir.
Entraba en habitaciones en que solo había una caída eterna. O no podías eliminar un enemigo, que estaba dentro de una viga y no se podía completar el evento sin abatir hasta el último contendiente.
Los responsables del juego, en algún momento, declararon que no corregirían los fallos, para dedicarse de lleno a los DLC. Y si, tal cual, hoy día vemos un DLC tan corto como resultado de sus esfuerzos y sin muchas adiciones, que fue motivo para dejar lleno de fallos la entrega principal.
Es una muy mala costumbre dar salida a juegos sin pulir, llenos de fallas, como paso con el caballero de Arkham, que incluso se retiró del mercado por un tiempo, al ser injugable. Pero, claro que si lo cobraron como un juego completo de primera calidad.
Con todos sus faltas y virtudes expuestas, tengo que reconocer que me gusta jugarlo (cuando no tengo que reiniciarlo cinco veces desde el principio), y se puede pasar un buen momento, a pesar de ser corto y a pesar de que fácilmente notamos cuando el juego nos hace trampas para hacernos más difícil la vida.
Es mi experiencia personal, me gusta el juego, a pesar de tener más fallos que los anteriores. Pero tengo que reconocer y mostrar no solo lo que me agrada, también lo que no me gusta del juego.
Si se deciden a comprarlo, esperen una buena oferta y ahora que saben los puntos flojos espero que no les afecte en mucho.

For some reason Batman games always look good, well, at least the more or less recognized ones. I think in Prototype this also happened a lot and it was too annoying, because if you are someone methodical and who likes stealth (like me), forget about applying it in this kind of games.
They are games that I can play again, over and over again, and have a great time. But there are times when they don't let you act freely, and they force you to play in only one way, to be in a straitjacket, I tell him. At those times it's not fun.
I'm a big fan of playing stealth, I tried the Prototype, because of changing the identity and it didn't work well, I didn't like it very much. It is to go to direct combat, and it did not entertain me much.

Para ser un juego del 2014 se ve extremadamente bien, o tal vez sacaste muy buenas fotos ajajja. Es una pena que hayan decidido dedicarle tiempo al DLC antes que arreglar el juego base una pésima decisión para mantener a la comunidad dentro del juego y mas aun cuando el objetivo de hacer un buen DLC no se cumplió.
Sí, es una real pena y falta de responsabilidad. De hecho, él online se mantiene, es por los usuarios, la compañía hace tiempo se desentendió de él. Y nunca sacaron actualizaciones para solventar todos los fallos.
