So sorry i disappeared - I injured my hand and have bad nerve damage in my PAINTING HAND... GARDENING hand and everything.... i have been very sad :-(
Ok folks.... If i don't do this i never will i'm so sorry to all that i have been away. I just disappeared of the HIVE chain and did not even so much as open hive / splinterlands / computer in 4 months.
Very sorry. I know i let people down in not explaining myself. @riverflows and @minismallholding especially. so sorry.
I ended up with nerve damage in my dominant hand from the injury i had in July last year. It improving, but i got out of the swing of things, life just got very busy and i dealt with this by hiding under a rock.
Not the best for someone who paints.. gardens and sews...
Not helping matters but i can't work either... been off work since July last year. Not amazing with interest rates and food prices... least i don't have to buy EVERYTHING from the green grocers.. that has been good.
But im tentatively dipping my toes back into the world again so HERE I AM.
I'm still able to do a little gardening... just not as much and things got a bit out of hand there too... Anyway. I'll do a proper garden update soon. AND i'm writing a post on Jolly citrus leaf miner... that has got a bit too happy in my garden as well.
Anyway, here i am, please say hello... I need it.

Anyway thanks so much for stopping along and reading my posts I am just loving my HIVE experience so far. Such a fun platform for sure.
For those that don't know my i'm currently focusing on Daily painting and somewhat amusing my self and my family with Acrylic pouring.. lol.. i wish i had a separate studio for that as it is so messy.
My other HIVE interests are:

Sewing - I make Tutus and ballet costumes too...

Yes, super slow to heal 6months to 2 years is the timeline, but worried that it might just remain this useless. Such a stupid little thing to happen it was the tiniest of falls with my hand landing on the doorframe NOT heavily. and boom...

Nice to have you back. Looks like garden is still growing. Life on Hive is a different thing. We all have disappeared sometime, somewhere along the way. And its usually healthy. Glad you are back and doing ok.

yes garden is growing... super big problem with citrus leaf miner though... so trying to deal with that. Am doing a post on this soon as i get all the pictures i want.

so sorry, i just sort of turned off the computer and then finding the password again was just so much bother. I know that sounds silly but i just sort of turned off many things as they were too hard. Then as the weeks went by it became harder and harder... you know like when you need to go to the doctor but dont. So you know i, i thought about it every day though... sort of on the mend... but i still can't draw well, or do anything that involves use of strength in my thumb. Its quite a challenge

Yes, its my everything... everything i love i can't do.... its been challenging, especially the no money thing, down 50K with the injury.. anything i would replace work with for money is kinda gone too... painting (though i can do a very little), sewing, tutu making, gardening. Can hardly even cook... well its hard.
Had a lot on my mind that is for sure. but i need to try and figure out what to do now. Doesnt look like hand will repair. pretty upset. actually

Life sure like to throw us curve balls. Have you been working with your other hand on your art? I guess it would be like starting from scratch, but could be worth it if that's your passion.
if i wear the brace, small brushes fit in the grooves and i can use them... i can't open the tubes easily though. Ive been playing with digital which uses my right (mouse) hand rather than left painting hand.
i hate the phrase " it is what it is.." but i just have to get on and figure it out really...
