Money has been swappable for food at every point in human history (except stranded on a deserted island scenarios), so it's a great assumption to make. Besides, nobody said if you have money/currency you can't know how to produce your own food. Having knowledge of food growing may save your life in one scenario, but savings might save your life in another. I have spent the past 20+ years adding to my understanding of both. I think another 200 years on each and I'll have a decent working knowledge :P
Thank you for your valuable way of looking at things. Have always had a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to money. Probably something to do with watching my father yearn after it to his own detriment. I will either have it or I won't. But knowledge, I can't get enough of it!
You are well ahead of me with 20+ years experience. Here's to that extra 200 years :)
Your personal experiences are pretty powerful ones! Your reactions are natural and probably tell us a lot about you (and all of us). Lessons to be learned all over the place.
Your hunger for knowledge and experience makes you who you are, and you're a very cool person :))
