RE: Cloning every fruit & nut tree in this region for my future food forest 🌴

But you can't eat money or currency! And it is in my opinion unwise to make assumptions. In this case one assumes food will always be available and people will always be willing to swap it for something. While this may be the case I would say it is better to be on the safe side and have alternative options which rely only on the consistency of nature. Even if it's just one forest you get to know, where you can pick or trap different things at different times of year. Who knows, having an understanding of your forest may just save your life one day. Plus, these kind of adventures are so much fun!

Money has been swappable for food at every point in human history (except stranded on a deserted island scenarios), so it's a great assumption to make. Besides, nobody said if you have money/currency you can't know how to produce your own food. Having knowledge of food growing may save your life in one scenario, but savings might save your life in another. I have spent the past 20+ years adding to my understanding of both. I think another 200 years on each and I'll have a decent working knowledge :P

Thank you for your valuable way of looking at things. Have always had a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to money. Probably something to do with watching my father yearn after it to his own detriment. I will either have it or I won't. But knowledge, I can't get enough of it!

You are well ahead of me with 20+ years experience. Here's to that extra 200 years :)

Your personal experiences are pretty powerful ones! Your reactions are natural and probably tell us a lot about you (and all of us). Lessons to be learned all over the place.
Your hunger for knowledge and experience makes you who you are, and you're a very cool person :))
