Malabar is good, grows better in the south. I grew it up here a few years ago but it took it 2 months to be of any size to harvest from. It did survive some frosts. One you might try is the New Zealand spinach which is similar in texture but is not vining, and gets pretty massive.

Oh cool, well they should do well here then. It should be a little warmer here so hopefully it grows well.
Oh okay I will have to look into that kind of spinach and maybe try growing next year.
