I also tried planting cabbage in containers this past spring. They got so large that I had to transplant them to a garden space after all. I did try growing two in hanging baskets but they kept drying out too quickly so the cabbage did not do well that way either. Best of luck with your experiment, I hope it does well for you.

@sunscape All the best for you. Surely you can do better in the future. If you ever sow seeds later, leave a gap, the distance from one plant to another. Then you don't have to replace it anywhere else.
As a result, there will be no possibility of the tree drying up. Hope you get very good results too. Thank you for the sound advice and best wishes.
