What about if we can grew it directly on the ground instead of seedling in the tray. Because sunflower is a big tree, its root system of course needs a large and deep space to develope the root. What do ypu think @fanyokami?

Yes! it can totally be grown directly in the soil!! just loose the ground a little bit and put the seed about 2.5 cm depth and cover with soil! I think it'll definitely do better that way!!
