They certainly take this holiday seriously ad I guess you have to be prepared knowing most things shut down. I was impressed here as our rubbish was collected the day after Christmas.

if I was in a by the hour position for my job and working on the the holidays was to pay something like 3 times as much I would be the first one to volunteer. Some woman I know owns 7 restaurants and she pays 3x as much and some of the staff have to be told, no, you have to take the time off. As a result all of her restaurants are busy as heck the entire week.

Yes I can imagine this would be a proper boom period for any restaurant that stays open.
