RE: Let's Cook Chaffle

I can imagine how hard it is to delete rice from your diet, but this looks like a nice diversion. I used to practice an intermittent fasting diet before the food situation in Suriname put us in mere survival mode. The key to keeping a low blood sugar and and glycemic load is to enter ketosis every day for several hours. Every time you enter ketosis, your body has burned off all sugar and begins consuming fat.

There are commercially available urine test strips for ketosis. For me, I found a 16-hour fast put me into ketosis for several hours each day. I achieved this by simply skipping breakfast, but one could eat a more carb-rich diet if doing it only in an 8-hour window each day.

Until now I have not tried the 16:8 fasting, only 12:12 and 14:10 only. Body shaking if I will not eat that long like 16 hours. But, I want to try it.
