Letchon Manok (Roasted Chicken) Simple Celebration For My Honor Student Brother

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 years ago (edited)

Good day to all of you hive and ecency people. Lately my mom and I attended Reading Of Honors here at the High School near us because my brother is one of the honor students. This school is her alumni. And I was only a completer at that school because I completed senior high school in another school.

An inspiring and proud news I received from my brother. He became an honor student at his school with an average grade of 91%, and I can't contain my joy because I know he worked so hard for it.

Since he was young, I have seen his determination and effort in his studies. He never neglected his classes and always asked his teachers when there were things he did not understand.

Even despite the challenges and trials that came in his life, he never wavered. Instead, he strengthened his heart and determination to make his dreams come true.

Now, as a brother, I cannot explain my joy at this victory. I'm so proud of him because I know he worked hard for it and it wasn't easy for him.

Now, he is ready to face more challenges and trials that will come in his life. But, I know that he has enough skills to deal with them because of his experience and success in his studies.

So to my brother, I am so proud of your achievement and cannot explain my happiness and love for you. Keep up the good work!

When we have loved ones who achieve successes, no matter how big or small, we can't help but show them our support and love. Like my brother who recently received high honors in his school. As a responsible brother, I want to give recognition to his success by providing ready meals to our family.

So, I decided to buy a whole letchon manok for our dinner. Even though it wasn't the most expensive preparation, I'm sure my brother was happy because of our simple celebration. Because it shouldn't always cost a lot to show our support and love to them. The important thing is that we are there to celebrate their success and be one of the people to make them feel happy that day.

This last pic is so blurry haha it's because I'm so hungry and my hands are shaking already.

Let's eat!

Giving isn't just about food, it's also a way of showing love, appreciation, and support to our loved ones. So let's not forget to give recognition to every success they achieve, big or small. In this way, we can strengthen our families and have closer ties with each other.

Is manok the tagalog word for chicken? and lechon is the word for roasted?Where I am from manok (manuk) means bird :D

Yes @macchiata. You got it right hehe. And btw, thank you for the vote in my recent post. Got muted, I just want to share my experience this weekend. Still learning and made mistakes

No worries! you're still learning afterall. I think that it's always best to read the community description before posting. BTW, what about pork lechon? how do you say it in tagalog?

Yeahh. Hmm actually Tagalog is my 2nd language. I have a binocular language. Here we say it letchon baboy (baboy) is the pork haha. But I think it's the same with Tagalog

I agree with you. Thanks for passing by 😁
