Night scene at Bukit Bintang

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY6 days ago

Last was the celebration of Chinese New Year (CNY), which is one of the significant public holidays in Malaysia. During the CNY festive period, it is a norm for privately-owned companies in Malaysia to grant their employees an extended leave. This gave an opportunity for the employees to fully enjoy the celebrations with their families.

My current employer also offering an additional day off for the public holiday. This year, CNY fell on a Wednesday and Thursday, and my boss generously extended the holiday for all staff, giving us time off from Tuesday through the following Monday.

I took advantage of this extended leave to spend quality time with my family. The first three days of the holiday were spent in Hatyai, Thailand, where we enjoyed a relaxing getaway. However, to avoid the anticipated heavy traffic at the end of the CNY holiday, I returned to Kuala Lumpur much earlier on Thursday.

Once back in the city, my family and I decided to spend the remaining holidays to explore Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur. Bukit Bintang is an iconic area known for its lively atmosphere, and night scenery. Bukit Bintang is popular among both tourists and locals.

I used to spend my weekends in the Bukit Bintang area during my younger days, particularly the Golden Triangle, where I would often enjoy live busking performances. It had been years since I last visited, so revisiting the area felt nostalgic.

The night we spent in Bukit Bintang was nothing short of exciting. The area was bustling with energy, filled with people enjoying the vibrant nightlife, street performances, and the overall lively ambiance. It was a wonderful way to enjoy the long holiday
